There’s something incredibly special about a first look—and Allie & Kane’s was the kind that gives you chills.

Just moments before Kane turned around, Allie was already teary-eyed with anticipation. You could feel the emotion building. Kane? He was bouncing with excitement. That raw, joyful reaction—the kind where a groom lights up at the sight of his bride—is hands down one of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding day.

It’s the kind of moment that reminds you exactly why we do what we do.

Before the big reveal, Allie and her bridesmaids got ready in their suite at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth. The girls laughed, popped champagne, and played on the balcony as Angie Williams worked her magic on Allie’s hair and makeup. Bridesmaids were styled by Christy Clark, and they all looked amazing in gowns from Bliss Bridal Salon.

Kane and his groomsmen were just a few floors away, sharing jokes and getting dressed—spurs and all. (His groomsmen surprised him with them the night before at the rehearsal dinner!)

This day was truly perfect from start to finish, and this first look was only the beginning of an emotion-filled celebration.
