Chelsea & Jacob – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelFort Worth, Texas

I am so excited to finally share Chelsea & Jacob’s wedding.  This one has been years in the making and it was so perfect!  From the moment we started photography at Fort Worth Club until the confetti farewell it was a fun and exciting day. Chelsea was gorgeous in her classic lined gown from Stardust Celebrations – this dress was made for her! It was like every seam perfectly accentuated her body and the back of it was stunning!  Jacob and the guys cut up outside before the ceremony and were so easy going.  After the wedding we had gorgeous light for some romantic portraits inside and outside of the Robert Carr Chapel.

Brittany & Tommy – Wedding Portraits at Robert Carr ChapelTexas Christian University Campus

Brittany & Tommy are so perfect together.  Watching them just makes me smile.  After their ceremony, before heading over to their reception at Fort Worth Club we had a few moments alone at Robert Carr Chapel.  I love the TCU campus and the chapel is so beautiful.  We had gorgeous light and sweet moments before they hopped in their classic car.

Brittany & Tommy – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelGetting Ready at Fort Worth Club

Brittany and Tommy are married!  Their wedding day was so fun and I am so excited for them.  They have been together 7 years and finally got to say I Do on TCU’s campus where they first met.  I LOVE their story told in Tommy’s own words:

“We met during our Freshman year of college at TCU through mutual friends right before Halloween. Brittany was hanging with a fellow sorority sister who I had befriended early on. We met in one of my best friend’s dorm rooms and our plan was to go to a Halloween store so that I could pick out my mandated Halloween outfit, Super Women (It’s a long story). It turned out to be a great night with many laughs that started a bond between us.
Fast Forward to a few months later when Brittany finally let me take her on a date and we have been together ever since. To answer the question, I’d say we have been dating about 7 years and they have been the best 7 years of my life.” – Tommy

Isn’t that the sweetest?!?  I am pretty sure they are going to have so many best years ahead of them!  Thanks to everyone who made their wedding day a success:

Chandler & Obie – Wedding Reception at Fort Worth ClubPortraits at Robert Carr Chapel

After Chandler & Obie said I do we took romantic portraits at Robert Car Chapel on the Texas Christian University Campus.  We had perfect light and a great time with them before heading to Fort Worth Club for their wedding reception.  At the reception I was totally crying behind my camera as Obie danced with four amazing women who have impacted his life – his mother passed away when he was young but God provided him with strong maternal figures.  I know that his Mom would have been so proud of him, seeing him loved and cared for so perfectly by each of them and now Chandler.  The love these two have is really inspirational, being with them just makes you happy!

Allison & Michael – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelTCU Campus, Fort Worth

Allison and Michael are married!  After 3 years of dating Michael asked Allison to marry him and now they are husband and wife starting their happily ever after with a fabulous European honeymoon (I was following every step of their trip this month and just so excited for them!). I love that travel is a part of their lives and Michael even proposed on a trip!  Here is their will you marry me story:

“We had been dating for almost 3 years before Michael got down on one knee. Michael proposed to me on 8/10/2016 on a family trip to Aspen. He planned a lovely picnic in evening with my family in music park with wine, crackers, and cheese. I was completely off guard when he surprised me with him down one knee. We will have been engaged for one year and ten months (on our wedding day)” – Allison

Michael has one of my favorite smiles ever.  Yep, ever.  When he sees Allison that smile just takes over and the joy Michael has is contagious!  When she walked down the aisle on her Daddy’s arm he looked so fully happy!  I said in my first post that Allison picked a man of character, like her Daddy.  There is no more proof than if you scroll down and check out the photos of her Daddy right before he gives her away and Michael right after he accepts his bride.  They both are looking at Allison with so much admiration, it’s undeniable that she is loved by both of them.

Thank you to everyone for pouring into this day!  This Fort Worth Wedding was amazing!

Jackie & Matt – Wedding Ceremony and Portraits at Robert Carr ChapelTexas Christian University

Jackie LOVES pictures – so we made sure we had extra time for photos outside and inside of Robert Carr Chapel on the TCU campus.  This couple values friends and family so we made time for photos with all their most important people.  The light was gorgeous as we walked around campus and captured the beauty of TCU and of course my couple!  Paper Planet created a unique laser cut invitation that I just adore for this wedding.  The wedding ceremony was so sweet and my favorite part was as Matt leaned in and whispered to Jacqueline during the unity candle lighting – so super cute!!

Taylor & Tyler – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelTCU Fort Worth, Texas

I am so full of happiness for Taylor & Tyler.  They are super cute together and I can tell that they really and completely “get” each other.  From the moment I met them I knew – they are kind, genuine, loving to all and really have compassion for those around them.  They are good people and together they are great!

As they prepared for their wedding I loved the excitement in the room.  Although nothing matched Taylor’s excitement as she opened her pre-wedding gift.  A stuffed puppy!  This little lovey isn’t just to hold but as a sign to come – the golden doodle Tyler found her as a wedding present. Her favorite dog – her obsession.  Tyler knows her well!  I also loved our first look with Dad – Dad’s always make me cry when they see their little girls all dressed in white!

At the chapel as these two said their vows and exchanged rings there were lots of smiles and sweet moments.  These two wrote their own vows filled with funny quips that got a laugh from everyone!

Shoutout to the vendor team that made Taylor & Tyler’s wedding day so beautiful!

Kyndall & Cole – Wedding Portraits at Texas Christian UniversityFort Worth, Texas

They say rain is good luck on a wedding day and if that is true Kyndall and Cole will walk through their marriage with luck at their side!  We all expect July weddings to be hot but on this day a surprise summer storm popped up just as these two were about to say I do!  The rain was outside so we played inside!  The new renovations at Robert Carr Chapel look awesome and you can see how crisp and beautiful this classic chapel is in these photos.  The rain just wouldn’t let up but we didn’t let that stop us from getting some photos in the Horned Frog Football Stadium!  At the Amon Carter Stadium it was drizzly and humid but we embraced the day and the humidity for some super cute photos for these TCU alumni.

Thank you to the vendors who made Kyndall & Cole’s day so beautiful!

Kyndall & Cole – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelTCU in Fort Worth, Texas

This TCU wedding was perfect in every way!  This couple met at TCU and it is now the place they said I do!  When they met Cole immediately knew that Kyndall was special and he pursued her as a friend and eventually a girlfriend.  I think his hard work paid off as Kyndall could not be more in love with Cole.  The excitement leading up to the ceremony was at a 10!  Both, ready to see each other and SO ready to be married!  We met up with these guys at the Fort Worth Omni Hotel for the preparations for the wedding at Texas Christian University.  As Kyndall dressed her Mom looked on with pride and love for her little girl.  When Daddy came into the room to see his daughter, a bride, it was perfect – the hugs, the laughter and a little bit of tears.   So sweet as they exchanged gifts and words before heading off to walk his daughter down the aisle.  Cole and his guys had a good time pre-ceremony with toasts of Whiskey, laughter and fun to ease his nerves and get him ready for the biggest “game day” of his life.  I was truly blessed to watch these two vow to one another love, devotion and respect and I know that God will carry them and their marriage through the life ahead.  Congrats you two!

Kyndall & Cole’s wedding vendor team was perfection!  Huge thanks to:

Bethany & Tyler – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelTCU Fort Worth, Texas

Hey!  Look at this beautifully remodeled and fresh new look at Robert Carr Chapel!  The iconic church on the campus of Texas Christian University just finished a long renovation earlier this month and I was SO excited to see it finished.  I love the updated color palette, new floors, expanded altar and all the amazing amenities they have added.  Can’t wait for all  my upcoming weddings here!

Okay, enough about the new look at Robert Carr – back to Bethany & Tyler!  Before walking down the aisle Bethany’s friends laid hands on her and prayed over her, the wedding and her life ahead as a Mrs.  It was so sweet!  During the ceremony these two were all smiles and I can’t blame them – I was too!  Their pastor was hilarious – he gave a challenging word of inspiration.  Pushing them to seek after a marriage that was full, overflowing and rich in all things – like a big gulp!  Yes, a big gulp, and he had the cup to drive the point home as a prop!  After saying I do, embracing the idea of a marriage that is MORE they kissed and it was done!  They were married!

Robert Carr isn’t just gorgeous inside, it is outside as well and we took some beautiful photos of these two on the steps and around the chapel.
