Sarah & Mitchell’s Highland Park Engagement Session in Dallas

Some mornings just feel golden — and this was one of them. We spent it with Sarah and Mitchell at Turtle Creek Park in the Highland Park area of Dallas, where tree-lined paths and soft, filtering light made the perfect setting to celebrate their engagement.

Sarah and Mitchell’s story began in Midland, where the two met during Sarah’s internship — a good reminder that the best things often show up when you least expect them. They’re both TCU grads, which makes what’s ahead especially fitting, and today they’re building a full life out west: Sarah as a marketing coordinator for the Sewell Family of Companies, and Mitchell as Director of Stadium Operations and Player Personnel for the Midland RockHounds. Between favorite date nights at Venezia’s and Opal’s Table and a recent trip to New York City, these two clearly know how to enjoy the ride together.

At Turtle Creek Park, we let them simply be themselves — walking hand in hand, laughing at their own inside jokes, and sharing the quiet, easy glances that say more than words ever could. As the morning light softened, their connection came through in every single frame.

What makes this session even sweeter is knowing what comes next. Sarah has dreamed of marrying in the TCU Chapel since she was a little girl, and soon we’ll be there to capture that very moment, followed by a celebration at the Fort Worth Club. We could not be more excited for these two.
