People often ask me what my favorite part of a wedding day is. And while there are so many incredible moments—first looks, vows, first dances—there’s one that always stands out:
The moment right after the ceremony.
It’s when you’ve just walked out of the sanctuary, surrounded by cheers, and for the very first time—you’re married. You’re holding hands. Breathing again. And for a few precious seconds, it’s just the two of you. No audience. No timeline. No posing.
At Regan & Jonathan’s wedding, that moment happened in a quiet back hallway behind the sanctuary. No grand backdrop. No perfect light. Just two people, eyes locked, completely overwhelmed by love and joy. In those unscripted, emotional beats—the tight hug, the breathless “we did it”—you can feel the weight of the day fall away and the meaning of it all settle in.
As your photographer, I’m often the only person standing beside you in that space. And it’s an honor I don’t take lightly. These images may not be the most posed or polished of the day, but they’re some of the most powerful.
Because it’s not about the background. It’s not about perfection.
It’s about you.
And I’ll be there to capture that moment—quiet, raw, and completely real.
