Some wedding moments are planned because they’re beautiful. Others become unforgettable because they’re deeply personal.
For Liz and Andrew, their Fort Worth wedding was filled with timeless summer florals, joyful celebration, and one incredibly meaningful moment before the ceremony began.
As Liz got ready in her grandparents’ home, she shared a first look with the two people who helped shape so much of her life. Watching their faces light up as they saw her in her wedding dress was one of those rare moments that reminds us why wedding photography is about so much more than portraits. It’s about preserving relationships, legacy, and the people who make your story uniquely yours.
We often think about first looks with a fiancé, but a grandparent first look can be just as emotional. It creates a quiet moment away from the excitement of the day, allowing everyone to simply be present together. Those photographs quickly become family treasures.
The celebration continued with a beautiful ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel before guests gathered at The Ashton Depot for an elegant reception filled with summer blooms, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of joyful moments on the dance floor.
Our favorite weddings always tell the full story—from the meaningful details to the people you love most. Liz and Andrew’s day was the perfect reminder that sometimes the most unforgettable photographs are the ones you never knew you needed.
