Claire’s Classic Bridal Portraits at The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth

Claire knew exactly the bride she wanted to be — and it was a classic one.

For her bridal portraits we headed to The Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth, and the contrast is the whole story. Her gown is pure tradition: a high lace neckline, long lace sleeves, and a full skirt that goes on forever. The Crescent is the opposite — bright and modern, all clean marble, sculptural lighting & bold contemporary art around every corner. Old-world bride, new-world backdrop, and I’m a little obsessed with what that tension does in a photograph.

We moved through the hotel chasing light and artwork — the soaring windows, the sleek lobby, the pieces on the walls that turn every hallway into a gallery. A traditional lace gown against a modern canvas reads as intentional and elevated, a little unexpected. Exactly the point.

Claire carried a lush white bouquet from Justine’s Flowers, her hair & makeup by Etoilly Artistry gave her that classic, polished finish, and her gown from Iconic Bride anchored the whole look. Her planner, Social Butterfly, kept everything running like silk.

There’s something about a bride on her own — in a gown she’ll wear exactly once, in a building this beautiful — with no schedule to chase. Just Claire, being exactly who she is before she says I do. The Crescent Fort Worth gave us room after room to make it count.
