There’s something so fun about an engagement session that feels like two completely different dates in one evening — and Allison & Griffen’s session with Amanda did exactly that.

We started at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden where the two wanted timeless, traditional portraits surrounded by lush greenery and classic garden paths. The soft natural light paired perfectly with their effortless style, creating portraits that feel elegant, relaxed, and genuinely them.

One of the best things about choosing multiple locations for your engagement session is the ability to tell more than one part of your story. The gardens gave us that romantic, polished feel while still allowing plenty of space for movement, laughter, and quiet moments together.

As the sun went down, we headed into downtown Fort Worth for a completely different energy at Thompson’s Bookstore. With moody lighting, cocktails, and creative direct flash photography, the session shifted into editorial city date night vibes in the best way. The dark bar atmosphere created a dramatic and intimate backdrop that felt playful, cinematic, and a little nostalgic all at once.

This combination of classic portraits and modern nightlife energy made their engagement session feel incredibly personal — a perfect reflection of both their relationship and the season they’re in together.
