Audrey and Cole’s wedding day was the kind of day that reminds me why I do this. Classic, elegant, full of pink — and absolutely full of joy from start to finish.
We started the morning inside The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth, and if you haven’t been inside this place, just know: it’s the venue for a bride who wants to feel like she’s getting ready in a real home. Not a hotel suite. Not a prep room. A mansion — with the architecture, the light, and the soul to match. Audrey moved through those rooms like she belonged there, and honestly, she did.
The first look happened in one of my favorite moments of the entire day — a long hallway lined with a row of tall windows, classic molding on every wall, the kind of natural light that does all the heavy lifting. Cole saw her and that was it. Everything else fell away. We stayed in those halls and spilled out into the gardens for family portraits and romantic images before the rest of the world got hold of the day.
Then it was off to the church for their ceremony — traditional, meaningful, and exactly what they wanted for the start of their marriage.
Guests moved into the gardens for cocktail hour right as the sun started doing its thing. Pink florals, warm light, the Woman’s Club of Fort Worth gardens at golden hour — I mean. From there, everyone gathered in the ballroom for an evening of dancing and celebrating, and that room was alive. Pinks everywhere — soft blush and punchy hot pink — formal but fun in every way.
And then? Audrey changed into a sparkly after-party dress, and the whole crew moved downtown to Studio 80 to dance the night away. Because of course they did.
Audrey & Cole, thank you for trusting me with this day. It was gorgeous, it was joyful, and I am so glad I got to be there.
