Brooke & Cody will be getting hitched this summer in Aledo with a reception at Ashton Depot. I met up with them at Brooke’s family home in Weatherford for their engagement session. We totally lucked out as it was predicted to rain and we dodged them some how. During our session we had some distant Thunder and ominous clouds rolling in but they didn’t really break open until right at the end. I think as we said our goodbyes and jumped in the cars it started pouring about 2 minutes later. That was some luck! These two met through some mutual friends and got engaged last June. I could seriously have photographed at their home all day, between the amazing stormy cloud filled sky and the landscape I was in photographer heaven! We also headed down into Weatherford for some photos in the historic downtown area.

April 18, 2014 Abby & Jeff – Wedding Reception at The Modern, Fort Worth
Abby & Jeff had a fabulous reception at The Modern after their Robert Carr Chapel Wedding Ceremony. Upon arrival and after a short introduction and dinner I stole these two away for photos in the galleries and outdoors with the building as a beautiful night time backdrop. The opportunity to photograph a couple with amazing architecture and artwork is one of my favorite parts of this unique reception venue. After dinner in the Grand Hall the party moved to the cafe where IDT Band was set up to fill the night with music! The floor was full and everyone, including me, had a great time. Congrats you two on your marriage and I know there are great things in your future!
Abby & Jeff’s Fort Worth wedding reception was pulled together by the following vendors:

April 17, 2014 Abby & Jeff – Wedding at Robert Carr Chapel
Abby & Jeff are married! They wed on 4.5.2014 with their ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel and reception following at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. We met up the couple before for getting ready photos. Abby and her ladies were pampered at The Omni and had their hair and makeup done by Beauty and the Blush. They had fun listening to tunes, singing along, telling stories and laughing at some bachelorette party gifts. The boys were just as lively and Jeff and his manly men donned their vests (with no shirts) for some silly group photos. I love some guys with a sense of humor! For this couple’s first look they saw one another as bride and groom for the first time in the chapel at TCU. Their pup Bentley joined them for a few “family” pics before they said their I Do’s. This couple is incredibly sweet and are just totally fun to work with. I had a great day with them and can’t wait to share their reception at one of my favorite reception spaces, The Modern!
Thanks to all the vendors who helped make their wedding day dreams come true.

April 17, 2014 Angela and Chad – Fort Worth Engagement Portraits
Angela and Chad are getting married in 1 month at City Club of Fort Worth and I can’t wait! These two met at a local restaurant where they became friends before starting to date. They are a great pairing and bring out the best in each other. During their session we hit Sundance square and a few spots downtown where Angela wore a super fun bold stripe skirt. After we took it to a little more casual and headed over to Fairmount Old Home Supply. There we had some fun and some distractions as a family and their very nude little boy made us all laugh. I must say it was a tad awkward but the laughs that it caused were worth it. One of the other (clothed) children makes a cameo in their photos riding past on his tricycle. It is definitely a session I will not soon forget. See you two in a few short weeks! -Tracy
April 8, 2014 Abby – Bridal Portraits at The Crescent Hotel, Dallas
Abby is married so I can share today! I loved her session and I have been on the edge of my seat to share these for weeks! The Crescent Hotel in Dallas was the perfect location for her bridal portraits, the right mix of classic vintage meets modern contemporary perfectly paralleled her look. Her dress, in a two tone of white lace over nude with one shoulder is fabulous and different. The train is an angled short design that adds structure to this form fitting dress found at Warren Barron in Dallas. Abby looked stunning and her look was perfected by Rayven with Beauty and the Blush. Her bouquet was provided by A Stylish Soiree. Her wedding was so much fun and I look forward to sharing it soon!
