Audrey & Cole’s Rehearsal Dinner at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

There are some venues we photograph all the time, and then there are evenings like this one that feel a little extra special. Audrey and Cole hosted their rehearsal dinner at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth — a space we adore but rarely get to shoot after hours. They gathered their closest people in the Cafe, where the museum’s clean lines and walls of glass made the perfect modern backdrop for a night of celebration.

Before dinner, we slipped out to the back landing for a few portraits, and what a view it is. From there you can take in all of the striking architecture the Modern is known for — the reflecting pools, the concrete and glass, the way the light moves across the water. It isn’t a setting we get to work with often, and Audrey and Cole made the most of every corner of it.

My favorite part of the whole evening, though, was the toasts. One by one, their friends stood up and said the sweetest things — and honestly, it helped me understand exactly who Audrey and Cole are. The same words kept coming up again and again: kindness, compassion, generous hearts. Not just for each other, but for everyone in their lives. You could feel how close-knit their circle is, and how deeply the two of them are loved.

By the end of the night, I was even more excited for what was coming the next day — their wedding at The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth. If the rehearsal was any preview, we were in for something truly special. Thank you, Audrey and Cole, for letting us be part of a weekend full of so much heart.
