Today wedding receptions are about more than the two of you, it is all about guest experience. You want every person on your invite list to know they are valued from the moment they arrive until they reluctantly head home. Creating moments of surprise and delight through out your day is a way to show them you care and to create a night they will be talking about for years to come.

Caroline and Beau did an amazing job creating unique moments for their most treasured friends and families and here are a few of my favorite things they did:

A first dance that was unforgettable! Choreography is not for all but if you love to dance, have some healthy confidence and are fearless it is a fun way to kick off the evening. Caroline & Beau learned a non traditional routine with twirls, lifts and some exciting moments that had the entire ballroom on their feet applauding.

Make a must have photo op at your wedding reception with a floral installation that makes everyone stop! A floral arch was the perfect welcome and we actually hung out by it and captured portraits of guests as they entered. Think about it as a non traditional Photo Booth – everyone will need their photo there!

Entertainment is one of the best ways to delight your guests and it can be done through music, creative entertainers or even fireworks! Caroline & Beau did a little bit of both! Before the party went into its home stretch the guests joined the couple outside for a fireworks display – is there any better way to get those OOOOHHHS and AHHHHS out of everyone? During the last band set they had another surprise up their sleeves, the groom’s Dad is a drummer. The crowd went wild when he joined Manhattan Band on stage for a performance!
