Making TIme for Portraits

on the wedding day

Your finally married and there are some things we have to check off the list before heading to your wedding reception to celebrate: portraits. We know that posed formal photos may not be everyone’s favorite part of the day but they are necessary and provide you with documentation of all your family that surrounded you. We work with you ahead of the wedding to make that list smart, fast and detailed so we can move on to the fun stuff!

The most important portraits on your wedding day are of the two of you. These are your first photos as husband and wife and often how you will remember your day. Carving out time for these photos is high priority when we start discussing your schedule. These can be broken up into smaller chunks or taken all at once. I love when we can break it up as it allows us to get a few options at multiple locations and take advantage of lighting situations. For the wedding below the couple had photos taken at their chapel, then at the Colonial Country Club golf course at sunset.
