There’s something incredibly special about a small, intimate wedding—and Kristen & Curtis’s celebration at the elegant Mansion at Turtle Creek in Dallas was the perfect example. With just a handful of their closest loved ones present, their day was beautifully simple, deeply emotional, and completely focused on what mattered most.
On a sunny Friday afternoon, I had the joy of capturing just a few hours of their story—and every moment was meaningful. Kristen looked radiant in a blush pink wedding dress, a non-traditional choice that highlighted her style and was stunning against her blonde hair and glowing skin. Curtis looked equally sharp in a tailored blue suit, full of anticipation to see his bride.
Their first look took place on the grand staircase above the restaurant at the Mansion, and it was one of the sweetest I’ve seen. Curtis’s face said it all.
We captured romantic portraits and family photos outdoors before heading up to the terrace for the ceremony, officiated by Marty from Love Notes Weddings. But the real show-stealer? Kristen’s daughter Kamdyn, who danced in the aisle, sprinkled more flower petals mid-ceremony, and joined her mom and new stepdad as Curtis gifted her a necklace—symbolizing their bond and new beginning as a family.
This wedding was proof that when you strip away the fuss, what’s left is the heart of it all: love, joy, and connection.
Kristen & Curtis—thank you for letting me be part of your intimate and unforgettable day.
