Kathryn and Grant’s engagement session was the perfect blend of elegance and fun—just like them! We started in the heart of downtown Fort Worth at the iconic Bass Hall, a location that holds special meaning as their wedding reception will take place right next door at McDavid Studio. The architectural backdrop was timeless and classy, setting the tone for the day.

Adding a personal touch, their sweet pup joined us for part of the shoot—and completely stole the show. Including pets in engagement sessions always brings out those candid, joyful moments that make photos feel truly personal.

To wrap up the evening, we strolled over to Flying Saucer, the site of their first date. Capturing them in that space where it all began made the session not just beautiful, but deeply meaningful. It’s always a joy to photograph couples in places that reflect their love story.
