For Caroline’s bridal portraits, we couldn’t pick just one backdrop — so we didn’t. We started in the lush greenery of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, then made our way to the clean, sculptural lines of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Two completely different settings, one absolutely stunning bride.

There’s something I love about pairing a soft, garden feel with crisp modern architecture in the same session. At the Botanic Garden, Caroline’s gown glowed against all that green; at the Modern, the reflecting pool and those iconic clean walls gave everything a sleek, editorial edge. She looked right at home in both.

Caroline carried a beautiful bouquet from TWE Floral, with hair and makeup by Starr Beauty Co. that held up gorgeously as we moved from gardens to galleries. Bridal sessions are one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding experience — a calm, unhurried hour that’s entirely about the bride, before the wonderful chaos of the wedding day.
