Some sessions feel extra close to the heart—and this one was just that. Photographing Amanda, one of our beloved team members of over 13 years, for her bridal portraits at Bowie House was such an honor. It was a chance to celebrate her, her upcoming wedding, and all the beauty of this season in her life.

Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her white gown accented with soft greenery and hints of blue—a timeless and fresh color palette that perfectly suited her. The elegant interiors and artistic charm of Bowie House made a beautiful backdrop, giving us endless texture and light to work with.

But the part that really made this session hers? The moment Amanda popped on a cowboy hat to close out the shoot. It was a playful, confident nod to her Texas roots and her unique style—and it brought the biggest smile to everyone in the room.

Getting to celebrate Amanda behind the camera was a full-circle moment. Her dedication to this company and the many clients she’s served so wholeheartedly over the years made capturing her bridal era all the more meaningful.
