Alexandra & Zane’s wedding day began with one of the most emotional first looks I’ve ever captured. Before Alexandra even tapped his shoulder, Zane was already crying—and not going to lie, I teared up too. The moment he turned around to see her? Pure magic. His love and admiration were written all over his face.

Alexandra looked stunning in her fitted lace gown, featuring an illusion back and sides that gave it a timeless-meets-modern elegance. After their sweet reveal at The Fort Worth Club, we headed to the Kimbell Art Museum for portraits with the wedding party and family—and of course, a few romantic shots of just the two of them.

Despite a forecast that called for nonstop rain, the skies cleared just in time. I came fully prepared in my red rain boots, but as it turns out, being prepared might be the best weather insurance there is. The sunlight showed up right when we needed it—and it made every photo even more radiant.

This day was full of joy, tears, laughter, and love—and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
