After the plates were cleared and the toasts were done, I stole Anna and Cole away for a few quiet minutes up on the rooftop — just the two of them, that golden end-of-day Fort Worth light, and one of the best views in the city.
We turned them toward downtown Fort Worth and out over the Stockyards, and right there behind them stood Hotel Drover, where they’d say their vows the very next day. There’s something I love about that — photographing a couple the night before, with the exact place they’re about to be married sitting in the background like a promise.
It was calm and a little giddy all at once, that last-night-as-an-engaged-couple kind of energy. Anna and Cole, these might be some of my favorite frames from the entire wedding weekend.
