After Vanita and Darren’s touching ceremony it was time to celebrate!  We took advantage of the golden sunset light in the garden while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour before entering the reception.  The evening was filled with heart warming toasts and sweet moments.  These two families have truly joined together and it was apparent through out the night as the couples parents hugged and laughed and really connected.  It was beautiful.  Here is a glimpse of their entire wedding day in their highlight slideshow:

Vanita and Darren are completely perfect for one another and it was such a privilege to photograph their wedding day.  They live in New York but chose to celebrate their wedding here, in Fort Worth, Texas, where Darren’s family resides so that his grandmother who is near and dear to their hearts could attend.  I love when couples care so much about the connection of family that they plan their events around it.  We met up at Stonegate Mansion for their indoor wedding and reception designed and planned by Tami Winn Events.  The ballroom with its soaring windows brings the outside in and was the perfect backdrop for their vows.  The bright peacock jewel toned hues of the bridesmaids Indian attire and Vanita’s elegant gold, cream and red sari were breathtaking in the space.  Darren and his gentlemen wore traditional suiting with Indian scarves.  I loved that they had their pastor from their home church in New York come down to officiate the ceremony, it was so personal.

Kerri and Jase were married on a wintery day in the evening at Marty Leonard Chapel with their reception to follow at Stockyards Station.  It may have been cold outside but Jase kept his girl warm and we had a great time photographing them.  Their day was filled with intricate details that Kerri and a team of friends and family spent months pulling together.  There were so many sweet things I can’t begin to talk about them all but I must mention her DIY mason jar glasses.  They were adorable and a beautiful parting gift for all her guests.  On top of Kerri’s hard work the following vendors made their day possible:

The ballroom at The Omni Hotel in Fort Worth was breathtaking and this photo above from the couples private last dance at the end of their evening shows off SO much of the beauty of their day.  It highlights the amazing lighting and decor as well as their closeness, pretty darn cool!  Once we arrived at the Omni the celebration was in full effect and Tami Winn and her team had set a backdrop that was flawless and elegant with winter whites and vibrant reds for this December wedding.  Once the couple hit the room it was full of laughter and chatter and the dance floor stayed packed as everyone hit the floor to party!  It was so sweet to see everyone, young and old, enjoying the festivities.  Read on for more about their night and of course their wedding day highlights slide show:
