I am SO excited about portraits this FALL!!!!  Last year I was on maternity leave with Gideon so I completely missed this busy portrait season.  Since I had an entire extra year to think about how much I love doing them and where I wanted to photograph my mini sessions I have a great line up.  It is making me think about my own families yearly photo and what on earth I will select for our holiday card.  We have a whole new line of cards this year I am in love with so I am not sure how I will choose.  In case your new, Lightly Photography is my portrait line and of course fabulous team of associate wedding photographers.

This year we will be offering Fall Mini Sessions on select Saturdays and weekdays.  Available weekend dates are October 6th & 27th or November 17th.  October sessions will be photographed in Fort Worth near our studio and you may choose from rustic urban, bright urban or field/nature.  November 17th will be at Penn Farms at Cedar Hill State Park.  The farm has vintage barns, open fields, dirt roads and fence lines as well as beautiful trees.  Please note there is an additional cost for admission to the Farms, individuals over 12 are $7 each.  (The Farms rock and I may very well be doing my own family here this year.)

Every bride wants to be published and we are always over the moon when our photos are selected for magazines and blogs.  Submitting images and being in tune with what local publications are looking for is fun for me and I was SO excited to supply this photo for the inaugural issue of 360 West Weddings.  The team at 360 West had a specific vision for this first cover and when I heard what they were looking for I sent over several selections that I though would hit the nail on the head.  I knew in the back of my mind that this image might be the one and it was!  The bride is Natalie who was married last summer and wore a super fluffy and pretty Vera Wang gown.  She is holding a pink bouquet by Tami Winn Events with sweet jeweled frogs as a nod to her Alma matter, Texas Christian University.

This new publication by Fort Worth’s luxury Magazine 360 West is an answer to a need in our city.  I know that this will become a go to for the Fort Worth Brides.  If you haven’t seen it look for it on news stands or check out the online issue here.  Inside are many more photos of my fabulous couples, see if you can spot them!
