Lyndsay and Brandon gave me a TON of time with the for Romantic portraits and that made me one very happy photographer.  Not only did we get to photograph at Robert Carr chapel but we swung by The Modern for a few photos and the old post office before heading on to the reception at T&P Station.  Read on for more about their night and of course their highlights slide show.

Lyndsay and Brandon were married a few weeks ago at Robert Carr Chapel on Texas Christian University’s campus with a reception to follow at the Historic T&P Station.  Today I am thrilled to share my favorites from their preparations and ceremony.  Above I stole these two away right after the ceremony and gave them a few moments alone and I just love this image.  The shadows, them sharing a few words, absolute LOVE.   These two were SO expressionistic so I had way too many special photos to choose from but I had to narrow it down (so tough!)  Read on for more about their day and check back tomorrow for part 2.

Only dislike about Robert Carr is their getting ready “classrooms” BUT I do love it in this instance because of the sweet heart drawn on the chalkboard behind my bride as she prepares to get married.

After the minister came into sign the marriage license pre-ceremony the guys clapped and laughed.

Best thing about having a third shooter – a photographer stationed with the bride and her Dad to get photos like this!

And as he looks at her, he cries.  SWOON..

Lyndsay couldn’t keep herself from crying either.

Sarah and Brian’s wedding extravaganza Part 2 includes their sweet romantic portraits, crazy bridal party and a very very very rocking reception!  After the wedding we had the most perfect sunset light and we utilized the phenomenal ceremony view for some bridal party fun.  All the ladies donned pink sunglasses and the boys showed off their striped bright socks for some shenanigans.  After we headed next door to the La Paloma Country Club where Brian works for some photos on the green.  Going into their party everyone was ready to DANCE!  And that we did, all NIGHT long!  See below for more about their fabulous night and of course their highlights slide show!

It’s been a few weeks since Sarah & Brian’s wedding and frankly I had a very hard time editing their images.  These two just pulled at my heart strings so selecting images to show as my favorites has been impossible, I wanted to share every single one!  Today I am excited to share their preparations, details and ceremony.

 Amanda, my associate, and I traveled to Tucson for this amazing wedding at the La Paloma Westin Resort.  Destination weddings are always a treat but are hard work as we combine a whirlwind weekend of travel, multiple events and beautiful weddings.  La Paloma is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding with one of the best views in my opinion of the Mountains.   It was a fabulous break from my Texas weddings (Can you tell I was a bit excited about mountains?)  Read on for more about their perfect day and look on the blog next week for part 2 of their wedding images!

She was excited and SO cute about everything.

Brian works at the La Paloma Country Club with the Golf Course so we had to brave the 100+ heat for at least one photo on the green.

Emily and Riley are having a VERY busy month.  From graduating, moving to getting married on the 3rd of next month.  These two love birds met at an ice cream social for their sorority and fraternity’s when they were starting the college life at TCU.  As the years have gone by they have grown together and up as they are preparing to move on to the next phase of their life.  Their engagement shoot was our first meeting and I had a blast with them.  They are that perfect goofy sweetness that I so adore.  Riley makes me laugh the way he places his hands upon her face when he kisser her forehead.  It’s so silly its romantic.  They are having a very vintage fun wedding at the McKinney Cotton Mill and I can’t wait!
