Where do I even begin? This couple is just the sweetest most silly in the perfect ways kind of in love that makes my life better. The way they look at each other, how they melt into each others arms and their willingness to enjoy life and laugh is refreshing and inspiring. Emilie & Jeff met in High School, kept in touch, and eventually fell hard in love as you can see by these photos.

The couple and their families and friends prepared for the wedding at The Omni Fort Worth Hotel. Emilee was full of nervous energy and laughter as she awaited seeing her prince. She is close to her Mom and sister and I loved the connection they had to each other as they helped her dress in her textured gown. Jeff looked so good and SO ready to see Emilee as he awaited my direction to turn around. When he turned his jaw dropped and rightly so – Emilee was stunning! These two laughter, embraced and checked each other out as they chatted about the day. It was such a heartfelt first look and after we had the parents join us for a gift and one of my favorite moments of the day – Jeff’s Mom & Step Dad seeing Emilee for the first time. Dad gave a big OK and Mom was just speechless – I love watching families become one that so deeply care for the person their child is marrying. It sure makes it extra special.

FINALLY – finally I can share this amazing bridal session at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas! This location is just lovely with it bright interior, soaring windows and gorgeous light. I could spend forever here photographing, especially with such a gorgeous subject! Allie’s dropped waist gown was found at Neiman Marcus and her bouquet is by Tami Winn Events. I will be sharing Allie & Kane’s wedding over the weekend so stay close!

Katie & Charlie – New Years Eve Wedding Reception at Fort Worth Club

January 21, 2016 Details

Happy New Year!!! I mean come on, is this not the most epic way to ever celebrate the new year? Surrounded by by their loved ones these two said more than I do. They said goodbye to 2015 and hello to a new year and a new life and Mr. & Mrs. They also threw the best New Years Eve party ever!

The ballroom at Fort Worth Club looked amazing! Tami Winn and her team pulled off a beautiful installation of floral, lighting, custom pieces and a floral halo that was suspended over the dance floor. It was the first time for the club to have a piece suspended from the chandelier and it just perfected the ambience and made everyone know that this night – was about the party on the dance floor! To go with their theme – the countdown to Conway – the couple had confetti tubes with “cue the confetti” tags and party horn place cards.

As the clock crept toward midnight the Project Band led the countdown and the room erupted in confetti, cheers, noise makers and lots of first kisses of 2016. It was perfect!

Katie & Charlie – Winter Night Wedding Ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel

January 20, 2016 Ceremony

We ended 2015 with one fun blowout of a party as we celebrated alongside Katie & Charlie at Marty Leonard Chapel and The Fort Worth Club. Before we could ring in the new year first we had to countdown to Conway and get these two married!

We kicked off the day at The Fort Worth club for preparations and some relaxing with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The ladies were ready to party and sparkling from head to toe in their gold drape backed sequin gowns. Charlie, the sweetheart that he is, gave each of the bridesmaids a bottle of Creed Perfume, Love in White, with a hand written note on the back thanking them for being a part of their day. Every detail was perfect and thought out from the fabulous blue shoes Katie wore to the bejeweled clutch and the amazing sapphire ring borrowed from he groom’s Mother. When it was time to get dressed Katie just glowed. I love her classic and clean lined gown with a fun and textured flared skirt.

At the church we snuck in a few photos as the sun was setting outside. The ladies were so sophisticated in their fur stoles. Charlie and his guys were thankful for the cold though – it is so funny to me how guys are always hot! Whenever it is cold outside it seems like a blessing to the groom. Katie’s family had their childhood minister who baptized her fly in to perform the ceremony. By candlelight and romantic moody lighting the couple said their vows. Charlie cried a few tears and Katie was so radiant. It was such a pleasure to share this day with them.

Without this amazing team this wedding would not have been possible, thanks friendors!

Katie was a gorgeous bride and I just loved every moment I spent with her. Genuine, sweet and kind with a happy heart describes this lovely lady so well. Let me add, gorgeous! She is radiant on the inside and out. Her wedding day was super special but first a few weeks prior we headed up to Denton to the Milestone for her bridal portraits. The simple and classic clean lines of the venue were the perfect backdrop for her session. I loved her vera wang gown with delicate jeweled belt. Katie carried an all white bouquet by Tami Winn – it is just winter white perfection! Her little pup, Winston, joined in for pictures and he was a perfect gentleman. He wore a rocking little gold bow tie so that he was properly dressed for the occasion.

I wish I could rewind so I could spend more time with you Katie! Congrats and check back to see more of this fabulous bride and her groom, Charlie, later this week.

Shelby & Blake – Wedding Reception at The Fort Worth Club

Love these two! So sweet how they are together and this moment just made my heart happy. As Blake’s Dad gave words of welcome and congrats, Blake stole this little kiss. I think it is kind of fascinating how as women, when we are kissed so sweetly on the forehead or cheek often respond with this smiley squishy face. I know I do! I think that is why it pulls at my heart, it is just a genuine happy reaction to being loved on.

Ashley & Derek – Wedding Reception at the Dallas Ritz Carlton

Rain is good luck they say and I believe it is true for Ashley & Derek. For their first look we had sunshine but it rained the rest of the day and when it does….make the most of it! In love with these rainy day photos we took right before this couple kicked off the party at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dallas. After getting a little wet Ashley slipped into her second dress, a slinky beaded gown to party the night away! Emerald City kept the floor packed all night long and we had fun until our feet ached with this couple and their families. A good band gets the audience pumped and everyone had a great time singing along and even making some appearances on stage! Derek pulled out his horn abilities and played a little while Ashley (along with her Mom, brother and Derek’s brother!) all spent some time on the drums. It was really a unique night! The ballroom at the Ritz was transformed and made lively thanks to all of Ashley’s vendors! Here is a run down of all her fabulous professionals:

Brooke & Justin Wedding at Piazza in the Village

January 12, 2015 Ceremony

Brooke and Justin were our last wedding of 2014 and what a fabulous end to a spectacular year! I just loved this couple and their wedding day, Justin was kissing on his bride or holding her tight from the moment he was allowed until the night ended. You know that kinda feels makes for one happy photographer! This photo above was my favorite of the day, captured right after the lighting of the unity candle these two are all smiles as they start their marriage in prayer together. A right foundation with a couple that is truly devoted will make for one happy life.

Brooke and her ladies were prettied up all day by Tracy Melton at a nearby hotel before we headed to the Piazza where their ceremony and reception was held. Once at the Piazza in the Village it was go go go and we stayed inside where it was warm and cozy. During the ceremony these two were all smiles and I love shooting in this chapel because of the intimate angles I am allowed to shoot from. After the ceremony as their family greeted the newlyweds the room was filled with laughter and love – these two are surrounded by some pretty special people that I know will be a support system through out their days.

Lindsey & Christian – Wedding Reception at The Colonial Country Club

July 14, 2014 Moments

The Colonial Country Club was perfectly elegant for this classic couple. With red, black and white details and floral the ballroom was gorgeous. After the couple kicked off the night with their first dance we headed out to capture some golden light near the green. The course is always a great backdrop at the golden hour and it did not disappoint. I love that even during romantic portraits these two were laughing and capturing that is better than any pose. THEN we partied – the dace floor was full all night, cake was delicious and dinner filled everyone to satisfaction. It was a great night as I enjoyed shaking my tail along with this couple and all their friends.

I am so excited for what the future holds for you two! Congratulations and be blessed in all things!

Abby & Jeff – Wedding Reception at The Modern, Fort Worth

Abby & Jeff had a fabulous reception at The Modern after their Robert Carr Chapel Wedding Ceremony. Upon arrival and after a short introduction and dinner I stole these two away for photos in the galleries and outdoors with the building as a beautiful night time backdrop. The opportunity to photograph a couple with amazing architecture and artwork is one of my favorite parts of this unique reception venue. After dinner in the Grand Hall the party moved to the cafe where IDT Band was set up to fill the night with music! The floor was full and everyone, including me, had a great time. Congrats you two on your marriage and I know there are great things in your future!
