Creme de la Creme {Cakes} – A Fort Worth Favorite!

I get to eat allot of cake, but I don’t eat it at every wedding because over the years I have become a cake snob.  I fully admit it.  There are a few companies that when I see them on my brides vendor lists I salivate and look forward to their cake cutting and ultimately the slice of cake I get to eat.  One such company is Creme de la Creme of Fort Worth.  Jaimie and her staff not only make one tasty cake but do a fabulous job on the outside too.  Your wedding cake and grooms cake are you show stoppers, your main centerpiece and statement in you reception room.  It has to look good and when you cut into it you want your guests to be fighting to get some.  With Creme de la Creme you can’t go wrong.

In preparation for my son’s first birthday I headed over to their store in east Fort Worth for a tasting.  I love the atmosphere, all their sample cakes and best of all…..tasting all the flavors!  Man, there were more than I even knew, some I never had before and it was just to die for.  Jaimie made me the cutest farm cupcake tower and cake for my son’s party AND that chocolate cake with the Carmel chocolate filling was super moist and completely eaten.  I believe in this company and trust them completely so if you are looking for a cake for any occasion give them a call at 817-492-8888 or email them at holderj@sbcglobal.net.

Ashley & Matt – A Dallas Wedding Reception at City Club

Dallas Wedding Photographer Tracy Autem City Club Downtown Red Sculpture

Fun shot outside the downtown Dallas high rise where they had the reception at City Club.

After Ashley and Matt tied the knot at Maple Manor in Dallas we switched up locations completely from garden to downtown high rise at City Club Dallas where they had their reception.  I always love working at City Club as their staff, food and service are just phenomenal.  They really saved the day actually as just days before the wedding Ashley realized she had told City Club Sunday’s date for her reception instead of Saturday!  All was taken care of though, the reception  moved to Saturday and it was gorgeous.  The night was jam packed with fun from Matt & one of his groomsmen singing “Gold Digger” by Kanye to the crowd, Oklahoma University Pride, and non stop dancing.  I know that everyone had such a good time and we did too!  Here are some photos from their Dallas Wedding Reception!

Mr & Mrs Gabe Stout – An East Texas Country Wedding, Part 1 Moments & Details

Bride Groom Recessional Chapel Wedding

Married!

Lacy & Gabe were married last Saturday out in East Texas in Sulphur Springs.  I had so much fun at this country wedding and I just adore this couple.  This week I am trying something new with my wedding post and splitting it up into two.  This post will focus on the moments and the details and part two will be all about the couple.  This is how the day is split up to me and so I thought why not post it that way!  I love capturing the things that happens, anticipating the moment and getting the reaction.  These photos tell the story of the day and speak to the emotion of the special people at the wedding.  Details are all about the things that express the couple and the things that they spent so much time thinking about leading up to the wedding.

Lacy and her girls prepped at a amazing home that her friends parents own.  It looked like an old barn and was filled to the brim with eclectic antiques and decor that made my head spin, in a good way.  I wish we had more time there to take advantage of it but the locations all day were killer and did not disappoint.  The wedding was held at the Hopkins County Museum and Heritage Park. The ceremony was in a quaint little chapel and the rest of the park…WOW!  So many little vignettes (that is photographer speak for locations) that you will see more of in their romantics post.  Then we trekked further east into the country for a honky tonk reception in Mount Vernon at the Trey-Deuce Domino Saloon complete with a good ol country band.  Everyone was so relaxed and chill, Gabe even changed into something a tad more comfortable than his tux and donned his jeans and boots.  It was such an amazing day and I am so lucky to have been a part of it.

With out further ado here are some of the beautiful moments and things from Lacy & Gabe’s East Texas Wedding!  Stay tuned for a blog tomorrow with romantics and their wedding day slide show!
