Lyndsay & Brandon {Married Part 2} Romantic Portraits, Reception and Bridal Party Photos at Robert Carr Chapel and T&P Station

Lyndsay and Brandon gave me a TON of time with the for Romantic portraits and that made me one very happy photographer.  Not only did we get to photograph at Robert Carr chapel but we swung by The Modern for a few photos and the old post office before heading on to the reception at T&P Station.  Read on for more about their night and of course their highlights slide show.

So tender and sweet.

Lyndsay had a great group of beautiful bridesmaids.

Walking across University at TCU.

The boys wanted a football shot so we pulled this out and I LOVE it.  They were having a great time goofing off together.

This shot was a request by the couple that they had seen from a previous wedding, it is still a great shot.  🙂

Loved their laughs and the closeness during the first dance.

A phenomenal end to a great first dance as husband and wife.

Brandon and his Mom.

Lyndsay and her Dad.

The band was rocking all night long!

Laughing at a comment by her Dad.

And then we partied!

Horned From Allumni!

The band invited the couple off to goof off for the last song.

Wonderfully lit last dance shot.

Off to Hawaii!!!!

Lyndsay & Brandon {Married Part 1} Preperations, Ceremony & Details at Robert Carr Chapel and T&P Station

Lyndsay and Brandon were married a few weeks ago at Robert Carr Chapel on Texas Christian University’s campus with a reception to follow at the Historic T&P Station.  Today I am thrilled to share my favorites from their preparations and ceremony.  Above I stole these two away right after the ceremony and gave them a few moments alone and I just love this image.  The shadows, them sharing a few words, absolute LOVE.   These two were SO expressionistic so I had way too many special photos to choose from but I had to narrow it down (so tough!)  Read on for more about their day and check back tomorrow for part 2.

Big shout out to Brittney Ann who stepped in to help us a bit for this wedding and took a few of the lovely details above.  Your the best!

Only dislike about Robert Carr is their getting ready “classrooms” BUT I do love it in this instance because of the sweet heart drawn on the chalkboard behind my bride as she prepares to get married.

Becoming a bride.

Mom helping with the beautiful pearl necklace Lyndsay received from her groom.

Nervous hands with a killer engagement ring and a family heirloom ring on her right hand.  I just fell in love with this at her bridal session.  It is so special when brides can incorporate an heirloom into their ensemble.

Lyndsay reading the note Brandon wrote her.

Brandon getting a hand from his Dad.

Brandon reading the note Lyndsay wrote him.

After the minister came into sign the marriage license pre-ceremony the guys clapped and laughed.

Best thing about having a third shooter – a photographer stationed with the bride and her Dad to get photos like this!

Her Daddy definitely loves her, look at how he looks at her as she looks on to Brandon.

And as he looks at her, he cries.  SWOON..

Lyndsay couldn’t keep herself from crying either.

A sweet impromptu embrace after walking out of the chapel.   Tomorrow Romantic portraits, bridal party and reception photos!

Lindsey & Jason – Engaged Part 1 {A Train Station Story}

Lindsey and Jason wanted something a bit different from what most of my clients request when it came time for their engagement session.  Lindsey wanted to incorporate a theme, props and tell a story PLUS have some “regular” photos too.  I love all my clients but it is nice to be thrown a challenge and come up with a new and exciting way to approach something I photograph frequently.  For the first part of their session we played out a couple in love, separated by distance, being reunited at a train station.  We threw in a vintage feeling with wardrobe and props from an old suitcase to gloves, love notes on postcards and a bit of special editing.  Watch this story unfold with some of my favorite photos from the first hour of their shoot.  Tomorrow part 2, a picnic!
