Angela and Chad are getting married in 1 month at City Club of Fort Worth and I can’t wait! These two met at a local restaurant where they became friends before starting to date. They are a great pairing and bring out the best in each other. During their session we hit Sundance square and a few spots downtown where Angela wore a super fun bold stripe skirt. After we took it to a little more casual and headed over to Fairmount Old Home Supply. There we had some fun and some distractions as a family and their very nude little boy made us all laugh. I must say it was a tad awkward but the laughs that it caused were worth it. One of the other (clothed) children makes a cameo in their photos riding past on his tricycle. It is definitely a session I will not soon forget. See you two in a few short weeks! -Tracy
This week marked a major milestone in my life and the studio. We purchased a building! That is right, a brand new place of our own that we will be spending many years to come creating beautiful images in and servicing our clients. Want to know more? Well, I’m being a bit stingy with the details at the moment as we are hard at work on renovations but we will be sharing photos through out the process. What I can tell you is that it is a bungalow style home built in the 1920’s in the Fort Worth South Side very close to Magnolia Ave. It is the perfect vintage home for us to hang out hats (and our camera straps.) At the new studio we will have a room set aside for shooting boudoir and babies, a fabulous claw foot tub, a HUGE porch to photograph toddlers and small children and will be able to walk to some of the best eats in Fort Worth. If all goes as planned with just minor hiccups we will be in the new space by late October. Here is a sneak peek at just a few parts of our soon to be home!
For my last photo shoot of 2010 I met up with Christina & Mason for their engagement session. They are getting married in just a few short weeks in February with a candle lit ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel and a reception at City Club Fort Worth. I can’t wait, especially after spending time with these two!
Christina and Mason dated in high school and have had an on/off relationship ever since and thankfully now it is fully on and they are walking down the aisle. It makes complete sense to me after just a few hours with these two. They are completely goofy and silly with one another and extremely sweet. I love how Christina plays with his hair and how they just giggle all the time (Mason giggles in a very masculine way though.) It was a huge compliment that Christina selected me for her photography as she has a degree in photography (Her sister does too!) and is teaching elementary art and hopes to pursue photography professionally in the future. It is always a trip when I get to use technical words during a shoot and know that a client gets what I am doing.
You two were the icing on the cake for 2010 and the most perfect session to start the new year on the blog! See you both in February!
