Ceremony at St Patricks Cathedral in downtown Fort Worth
Becca and Drew are our first couple of 2015 and what a great start for the year! These two love birds chose a winter wedding and they carried that theme beautifully through out the day. From midnight blue bridesmaids dresses to snowflakes on their cakes it was a cool and elegant day. It was definitely cool outside too as the January weather did not disappoint with some chilly temps and some rain on and off through out the day. We were lucky to snag just a little time outside with the couple for their first look before the ceremony and the rain began. Becca and Drew were so sweet during their first sight and you could just see the stress melt away as they were able to spend some time alone together. From wedding at University Christian Church over to The Colonial for the reception it was time to dance and mingle with friends and family! As the night came to an end they shared a private last dance which may have been my very favorite part of their day. Alone in their reception room I could just see how much Becca and Drew love one another, what a great start to their marriage! Congrats guys!

After a touching ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel we headed off to the Fort Worth Omni Hotel for Megan & Casey’s wedding reception. I adore these first 2 photos showcasing the back of Megan’s gorgeous gown and her fabulous simple and classic hairstyle. Casey is looking smart in his dress blues too! After a few romantic moments it was time to party! From the moment they entered this couple was energized and spent the night dancing, playing drinking games with friends and truly celebrating the beginning of their lives together. The ballroom looked beautiful with floral by Tami Winn Events and lighting by LeForce. Thanks so much Megan & Casey for allowing us to be a part of your new lives together!

Megan & Casey are married and by this time settled into their new home in Tucson! This couple may have had to skip the honeymoon so they could move and settle in before Casey had to report back to base BUT they had a fabulous time together her win Fort Worth for a few days as they celebrated wedding with their closes friends and family.
After some beautification at the Omni hotel Megan and her ladies hopped in the limo to Robert Carr Chapel. After slipping on her delicate lace gown from Bliss Bridal these two tied the knot! From the moment that door opened Casey beamed as he watched his bride walk toward him. As Daddy gave her away I loved that he hugged Casey, kissed Megan than said a few words over them – it was one of the sweetest moments with a Father I have ever seen at a wedding. During the ceremony their were lots of laughs, ear to ear smiles and perfectly spoken words that ended with a kiss and a grand exit in front of the church. An Air Force tradition some of the TCU Cadets performed the saber arch for the couple and as they kissed they allowed them passage. It was perfect in every way!
Their day, emotion filled, didn’t stop at the ceremony and I can’t wait to share the fun of the reception tomorrow.

After a touch of pre ceremony rain we had bright sunny skies for some photos outdoors before heading to Alison and Brent’s wedding reception. I just love the exterior at Robert Carr Chapel, completely classic and so romantic. The couple and their bridal party had a bit of fun on the step and a groomsmen’s jacket may have been damaged by their shenanigans. 🙂 Then it was off to the reception for a fabulous party with Trey & the Tritones and a delicious sit down dinner by Fort Worth Club. Brent ended their first dance with a dip and a kiss and before long the floor was full and stayed packed with dancing and fun all night long! For their cakes the couple gave a not to their alma matter, Baylor with a themed cake and a fun gobo light. From the first dance to the last dance this night was perfect.

Ali & Brent were married 2 weeks ago so at long last here are her Chandor Gardens bridal portraits! I love this location, even in the summer heat this garden sports some beautiful light and shade during the early morning hours making it perfect for her elegant and classic photo shoot. Ali found her dress and all her accessories at Bliss Bridal. Her white bouquet was created by Tami Winn Events. Beauty was pulled together by Jennifer Trotter of Lip Service Makeup and Renn Traylor Hair. Alison made a stunning bride in her simple gown, her gorgeous smile and sweet personality made her a dream to work with. Stay tuned for more form her wedding day.

Romantics with these two made me SO very happy! Look at these! Eeeeee, love! We took advantage of the night time lights outside the Piazza in the Village plus some off camera flash love to create these dramatic images. Daytime is always beautiful but sometimes the little bit of light that is naturally available at night can make for some stunning moments. After some time alone Kathryn & Douglas took to the dance floor where he spun her and held her tight for a choreographed first dance. Rod Baker with DFW Parties kept the floor packed all night as everyone fully celebrated this special night. I loved spending their day with them and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Congrats!

Kathryn & Douglas were married in a lovely ceremony at Piazza in the Village on a Thursday evening. Yes, a Thursday! You would never have known this couple selected a week day as their family and friends were all present to celebrate and party the night away. We started our day with Kathryn at her Mom’s home for hair and make up by Lip Service Make Up and Renn Traylor Hair. This awesome duo made Kat and all her ladies look stunning! Off to the ceremony where she donned her lace gown with a back that makes me swoon! Before we knew it we were on our way to the I do’s! This couple just shined as they looked at one another! Marty with Love Notes weddings officiated and did a fabulous job as always bringing this couples love together for everyone to witness. Can’t wait to share their party later today!
