Ali & Brent – Wedding Reception at Fort Worth Club

After a touch of pre ceremony rain we had bright sunny skies for some photos outdoors before heading to Alison and Brent’s wedding reception. I just love the exterior at Robert Carr Chapel, completely classic and so romantic. The couple and their bridal party had a bit of fun on the step and a groomsmen’s jacket may have been damaged by their shenanigans. 🙂 Then it was off to the reception for a fabulous party with Trey & the Tritones and a delicious sit down dinner by Fort Worth Club. Brent ended their first dance with a dip and a kiss and before long the floor was full and stayed packed with dancing and fun all night long! For their cakes the couple gave a not to their alma matter, Baylor with a themed cake and a fun gobo light. From the first dance to the last dance this night was perfect.

Brooke & Cody – Wedding Reception at The Ashton Depot

I love the Ashton Depot! It is a fabulous place for a wedding reception with great architectural lines and views of downtown Fort Worth right outside! It was the perfect place for Brooke and Cody’s reception. The Depot was magical in golds and pinks with floral by Tami Winn Events and lighting by Randal Stout. All the little details were brought together from flip flops to dance in to a cigar bar outside by the team of Precisely as Planned. From the moment this couple entered the room the fun began as they started their first dance. Cody kicked off the night welcoming their guests and thanking is lovely bride above all for being his wife. It was so sweet! During toasts the couple laughed and cried just a bit before hitting the dance floor with their parents. Then the party was ON! With a cigar bar on the patio and a packed dance floor there was something for everyone. After a final dance alone in the ballroom Brooke and Cody departed with a sparkler send off and a fabulous vintage car.

Rain is never planned because, well, it’s weather. It does what it wants and no bride wants it BUT when it happens we make the best of it. In fact I kinda love this above photo because I think it perfectly captures the day that Lauren and Justin tied the knot. We rocked it out at the reception, had a blast and then they headed out to their honeymoon. It was perfect in every way thanks to the following vendors:

Lauren & Justin’s Wedding at OW Ranch in Granbury

Lauren and Justin have stolen my heart. They are a couple that is FUN and truly they are best friends. Seldom have I been so inspired by a couples friendship then seen them follow it up with romance and I love it! As they were joined in marriage a few weeks ago at OW Ranch on a very rainy day they were also building a new family. Justin is blessing his new wife with his very cute, funny and ridiculously silly son Vince. He is a ham and had us chasing him all night long to catch photos of his escapades from throwing flowers into a ceiling fan and using the garter as a sling shot. Their day was full of perfect moments, with the above being one of them. Lauren and Justin choose to have a private moment before the ceremony with out seeing each other by blindfolding him. They spoke a few words, exchanged notes and stole a kiss. It was perfect. More coming tomorrow!

Lauren’s Daddy came in to see her for the first time in her gown, he gave her some sweet words of wisdom and there was not a dry eye in the room.

Lauren and Justin had a very stylish bridal party with some super fun shoes. Love the flower girls Chuck Taylors!

Love this big HUG Vince gave Justin. They are so sweet and Justin is such a good Dad.

Before the ceremony the minister explaining to Vince his part of the wedding and what he needed him to do.

With out breaking tradition, blindfolded the couple spent a few minutes together.

Justin included the gorgeous key inside his not to his wife to be.

Lauren & Justin’s chic yellow and gray vintage theme was so pretty and you can see from their invitation set that from the first point of contact their guests knew exactly what to expect.

To show the family they were becoming they included Vince in a tradition of tying strands of string together.

A Wedding Soiree at City Club Fort Worth for DFW’s best wedding planners

City Club hosted an amazing wine paired soireefor some of the best wedding planners in the DFW area. We had a fabulous time meeting some new faces as well as enjoy time with planners we work with frequently. City Club is one of our favorite places in Fort Worth and it looked amazing with flower arrangements by LeFleur Couture, Bridal Blooms, and Arrangements by Mary Parks. Furniture was provided by May I Serve U and lighting by It’s Your Night Entertainment with music provided by Randal Stout Entertainment and iEntertainment. The dinner was amazing as Chef Gilbert never disappoints. Dinner was followed with yummy treats from the always delicious Creme de la Creme. The dining, drinking and mingling was captured on film by Turquoise Video.

Meghan & Cody Wedding – Reception at Bass Hall Founders Concert Theater Stage

I’m almost sad this is my last post from this wedding. BUT I can’t be sad about these awesome images and this super sweet couple! Their reception was a perfect party and it came together with out a hiccup thanks to the guidance and planning of Tami Winn. As the guests finished cocktails in the grand lobby they were ushered back into Founders Theater to see the curtain raised and a marvelous reception awaiting them on stage. With guest musician, Texas Country star Corry Morrow, Meghan and Cody danced their first dance and kicked off a night of celebration.

I can not think of many places more grand for your wedding…what a backdrop!

The grand lobby of Bass Hall set with rented furnishings welcomed guests during cocktail hour.

Some photos I love because they are beautiful, cool light, romantic. BUT this image just tugs at my heart. I loved seeing the connection between this couple and their families as they prayed before dinner. I hope this strength remains with them always.

Kirsten and Ryan had one amazing party. In fact it was so good that I am changing it up and posting it before their ceremony and preparations. Kirsten told me from the first time we met it would be a PARTY and she was right. All night long the floor stayed packed with people and I had so much fun dancing along with them as I photographed that a my feet hurt. Her day was made complete by a perfect list of vendors that honestly I am lucky to work with on any given wedding day. Each and every one of these come with my endorsement.

Glenn is a m aster entertainer and he welcomed the bridal party with custom introductions and hilarious photos. It was a great photo op and made for many laughs.

Did I mention Kirsten wanted to PARTY? I think so and yes, she had a special request for some jumping on the bed photos to end her perfect wedding day.

It was truly a blast being a part of their day and I hope I get to party with them again in a few years for one killer anniversary shin dig.
