Cherrell & Alan – New Years Eve Wedding ReceptionFort Worth Club

Happy New Year!  Cherrell & Alan’s wedding was my last of 2018 and the first of 2019 as we rang in the new year together!  Having a New Year’s wedding is special – you gather your family and friends for a celebration they will be talking about every year to come.  It’s definitely special.  As a photographer it is a recipe for fun!  DJ Nate Nelson and Vibe the Band made sure the party didn’t stop until the confetti fell.

Cherrell & Alan – Wedding Ceremony at Marty Leonard ChapelFort Worth, Texas

Cherrell and Alan had an elegant nighttime ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel.  The chapel is such a gorgeous venue that really transforms at night.  Their candlelit wedding was so sweet.  Alan has the most beautiful smile and when Cherrell walked the aisle with her Daddy his face lit up the room.  After the ceremony we played in the dark inside and outdoors to take advantage of the gorgeous architecture of the chapel.

Morgan & Jason {Married on New Years Eve} Fort Worth Club & FUMC

Morgan & Jason were married on New Years Eve.  In a way they were my last wedding of 2011 and my first of 2012 as we ended after midnight.  We had a truly beautiful day with them and I was SO very excited to shoot their wedding.  I had been on maternity leave from weddings for almost 3 months so it was awesome to be back doing my thing!  Morgan & Jason were married at First United Methodist Church with a reception to follow at Fort Worth Club.  Here are some of the amazing vendors they used:

Tami Winn Events – Floral

Vera Wang Gowns at Neiman Marcus

Dessy – Brides maid Attire

Ice House Band

Halo Bridal Salon

Gorbos Salon

Morgan kept her dress top secret from all of her bridesmaids and friends so I LOVE these two photos as her dress was brought out.  Her Mom looked so happy and her bridesmaids reactions was WOW!

Often my couples exchange gifts on the wedding day.  I love how expressionistic these two are!  Morgan admiring her Tiffany’s necklace and Jason lost his composure at the sight of his gift.

Confident.  best word to describe this beautiful bride.

The flower Girl watching as Morgan entered the hall.

I think Jason might have been nervous, he was puffing his cheeks out in anticipation but when he saw her…..he just smiled.

Perfect moment with Dad and Daughter.

The main reason I love unity candles is this.  The chance for the couple to steal a moment to themselves amidst the crowd.

I love how tender Jason is.  He kissed her on the shoulder as they danced their first dance.

A sweet moment during the prayer.

This kid had me wanting to run home, scoop up my boys and love on them.

Ice House band ROCKED it!!!

Always amazing flowers by Tami Winn

ADORE this photo of Jason with his Grandma.  Images like this are beyond priceless.

Happy New Year!!!

Hello 2012!

We are so excited for this upcoming year at Tracy Autem & Lightly Photography.  2011 was an over the top year.  I bought our new studio building, we renovated it and we moved in.  I shot my 100th wedding.  I had a second son, Gideon, in October.  Sarah Halferty graduated with her BFA in photography.  Amanda McCollum, TCU photography graduate, joined our team.  Sarah Rizy (my indispensable right hand girl) became an avid runner and is participating in 5K’s to raise money for cancer research.  We worked with all of our favorite vendors and had the most beautiful brides.  Can’t wait for whatever 2012 brings……

Here is a sneak peek of the wedding we photographed last night, on New Years Eve.  This is how we brought in the new year and it was an amazing time.
