This couple was one of my FAVES this last year and I am so thrilled to see their wedding featured in the current issue of Brides of North Texas Magazine. If you can’t get enough of this adorable pair you can see more images from their Fort Worth wedding here:
Megan & Casey are married and by this time settled into their new home in Tucson! This couple may have had to skip the honeymoon so they could move and settle in before Casey had to report back to base BUT they had a fabulous time together her win Fort Worth for a few days as they celebrated wedding with their closes friends and family.
After some beautification at the Omni hotel Megan and her ladies hopped in the limo to Robert Carr Chapel. After slipping on her delicate lace gown from Bliss Bridal these two tied the knot! From the moment that door opened Casey beamed as he watched his bride walk toward him. As Daddy gave her away I loved that he hugged Casey, kissed Megan than said a few words over them – it was one of the sweetest moments with a Father I have ever seen at a wedding. During the ceremony their were lots of laughs, ear to ear smiles and perfectly spoken words that ended with a kiss and a grand exit in front of the church. An Air Force tradition some of the TCU Cadets performed the saber arch for the couple and as they kissed they allowed them passage. It was perfect in every way!
Their day, emotion filled, didn’t stop at the ceremony and I can’t wait to share the fun of the reception tomorrow.
As always wedding days are made by great vendor teams. Megan put together a fab team! Thanks to the following vendors for helping create her vission:
J. Crew – Bridesmaids Dresses
Robert Carr Chapel – Ceremony Location
Love Notes – Randy Dicken – Officiant
Lip Service Makeup Artistry – Jennifer Trotter
Ren does Hair – Renn Traylor
Ali & Brent were married 2 weeks ago so at long last here are her Chandor Gardens bridal portraits! I love this location, even in the summer heat this garden sports some beautiful light and shade during the early morning hours making it perfect for her elegant and classic photo shoot. Ali found her dress and all her accessories at Bliss Bridal. Her white bouquet was created by Tami Winn Events. Beauty was pulled together by Jennifer Trotter of Lip Service Makeup and Renn Traylor Hair. Alison made a stunning bride in her simple gown, her gorgeous smile and sweet personality made her a dream to work with. Stay tuned for more form her wedding day.
After their St. Patricks Cathedral wedding ceremony the sweetness continued on to the reception at City Club of Fort Worth. With some fun urban shots of the couple and their party before heading to the party – I had TOO much fun at this wedding. I wish I had an hour to run around town at every wedding, it has made me fall in love with my Catholic long day weddings and the ache in my feet the next day is so very worth it! Their night was filled with lots of squeezes, kisses, crinkled up noses and dancing! Before heading out for their exit Alex slipped into a little cocktail dress to end the night in total comfort.
Thanks to the vendors who made Alex & Andrew’s Fort Worth wedding such a smashing success!
Alex and Andrew are absolutely darling and I am so excited to finally share their wedding! They were hitched just before I headed out of town for vacation so the anticipation to share these has been building! They had an afternoon wedding at St Patrick’s Cathedral in downtown Fort Worth allowing me lots of time for photos between their ceremony and reception. With their laid back style we headed over to one of my favorite portrait locations – Van Zandt Cottage. I have never had the chance to take a bride and groom there before an fit was heaven – so glad we had the extra time to create some beautifully romantic images. These two had an emotion filled day and their cuteness level is definitely an 11! From passed notes around doors, unseen to stolen kisses at the altar I just swooned from start to finish.
Thanks to the wedding vendor team for helping make this day so phenominial!
Check back later for more of their Fort Worth wedding reception!
I have said it before but I will say it again – I love Chandor Gardens. It has become one of my favorite locales and you can see from this beautiful bridal portrait why. Alex wanted something whimsical and light and the english styling of this garden fit to a T. Alex looked beautiful with her hair by Renn Traylor and make up by Jennifer Trotter with Lip Service Makeup. Her gown was purchased at Bliss Bridal in Fort Worth with bouquet provided by Blossoms on the bricks. Alex is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met and she is truly a treasure to photograph. Can’t wait to share her wedding later this week! -Tracy Autem
Romantics with these two made me SO very happy! Look at these! Eeeeee, love! We took advantage of the night time lights outside the Piazza in the Village plus some off camera flash love to create these dramatic images. Daytime is always beautiful but sometimes the little bit of light that is naturally available at night can make for some stunning moments. After some time alone Kathryn & Douglas took to the dance floor where he spun her and held her tight for a choreographed first dance. Rod Baker with DFW Parties kept the floor packed all night as everyone fully celebrated this special night. I loved spending their day with them and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Congrats!
Thanks to all the vendors who made Douglas & Kathryn’s wedding so amazing:
