This table top design with Jacqueline Events was gorgeous! I loved the use of rental furniture, and the long statement floral on the table. The color palette with soft sage greens and pinks, light coral’s and whites was touchable and soft. Di Fiori always impress’ me with their use of flowers. The invitation suite by Goldie Design Co was perfection with soft floral details and wax stamped envelopes. We photographed this editorial at the new and lovely venue, The Laurel, in Grapevine. Its natural green backdrop exterior areas were perfect backdrops to this classic design. Big shout out to our other vendor partners Honeylove Cakery, Prop Maker Luxury Event Rentals & Farm to Market Catering!
So excited to start sharing this beautiful vineyard wedding! Mitas Hill Vineyard is seriously the most perfect place in North Texas to have your wedding if you want it to have that classic winery look. The property is huge and filled with fields of beautiful grape vines. From the ceremony you overlook the vineyard and it is pretty spectacular. It is like a little piece of the California wine country right here! The location is more than pretty, for this couple it is home. Jillian’s family owns and operates Mitas Hill and Brady works on property – that connection makes it even more special.
We kicked off the day indoors at the winery for getting ready in the suites and lounge. Jill and Brady exchanged gifts and dressed in their finest. I love the illusion plunging neckline of Jillian’s wedding gown from the Bridal boutique of Lewisville. During the ceremony these two were all smiles (as were their parents!) – they have been together for over 10 years having started dating while Jill was in junior high and Brady was the “older man” in high school. I think their age difference definitely means less today but I am so glad that they have stuck through it all and by each others side so that now that can call each other husband and wife! Congrats you two and I can’t wait to share more of this beautiful May wedding!
Every wedding isn’t complete without an amazing team and Jillian and her Mother pulled together an all star cast:
Oliver Davis Events – Wedding planning, design & floral
Minted – Paper Products
The Magic Pen – Paper Products
Lorenzo Gonzalez – Harpist
We love working with the Brides of North Texas Magazine. It is full of awesome tips and ideas for the modern bride. This current issue I had the privilege of photographing the invitation and papers spot light. The paper products you send to your guests announcing your engagement to the place card at the reception tell a story about what to expect on the wedding day. I have a deep love with letterpress products and fonts used in interesting ways and these all caught my fancy. For more information on my past publications with Brides of North Texas see HERE.
