A Wedding Soiree at City Club Fort Worth for DFW’s best wedding planners

City Club hosted an amazing wine paired soireefor some of the best wedding planners in the DFW area. We had a fabulous time meeting some new faces as well as enjoy time with planners we work with frequently. City Club is one of our favorite places in Fort Worth and it looked amazing with flower arrangements by LeFleur Couture, Bridal Blooms, and Arrangements by Mary Parks. Furniture was provided by May I Serve U and lighting by It’s Your Night Entertainment with music provided by Randal Stout Entertainment and iEntertainment. The dinner was amazing as Chef Gilbert never disappoints. Dinner was followed with yummy treats from the always delicious Creme de la Creme. The dining, drinking and mingling was captured on film by Turquoise Video.

Melanie Jane & Dave – Wedding & First look at Robert Carr Chapel with reception at Fort Worth Club

I LOVE the above photo.  The clouds, their faces, the tall grass, ohhhhh it is scrumptious.  SO many photos from Melanie Jane & Dave’s wedding day had me swooning behind my camera.  From the moment they first embraced int he chapel until they departed in the limo love radiated from them.  Enjoy more of their Fort Worth Wedding and Reception with their best of slide show:

Seeing each other for the first time in Robert Carr Chapel on Texas Christian University’s Campus.

Look at how she looks at him.  It’s perfect.

Sweet hugs make me giggle and grin behind my camera, love this moment.

The chapel looked so elegant with white rose petals lining the aisle and the bright colored pew decor by Tami Winn Events.

After the ceremony on the way to the reception we stopped off at one of my city fields.  I love them because they are on the way, not out of the way and it fits with this couple so well.

Welcoming the Mr & Mrs with a napkin in the air, let the party begin!!!

As Melanie Jane’s Dad prayed for dinner he had all his guests join hands, I loved this touch.  It made it feel like a family meal.

Full of laughs while they were cutting their cake.

Melanie Jane’s sister with her husband standing by toasting the couple.

Dave’s best man toasting the couple.

Melanie Jane’s Dad toasting and sharing a very sweet toast.  It even brought his wife to tears.

I I love her face as her Dad twirls her.

One of my favorite photos I have taken on the dance floor lately.  Quiet and romantic amongst all their guests.

Melanie Jane & Dave – Wedding at Robert Carr Chapel and Preperations & Details at Fort Worth Club

One of my favorite photos from their day, a private moment in the limo after the ceremony on the way to their reception.  I ADORE Melanie Jane’s laugh.

Melanie Jane & Dave’s wedding day was phenomenal.  Today I will be sharing the precious moments of their preparations, ceremony and some of their beautiful details.  Tomorrow be on the lookout for their slide show with my favorite images that completely tell the story of their wedding day as well as their first look, romantic portraits and reception.

We met up at their reception location, The Fort Worth Club, for preparations with Melanie Jane.  The light was perfect as her hair and make up team helped with her bridal transformation.  After she shimmied into her dress we were on to Robert Carr Chapel for her ceremony.  Her wedding was made beautiful by their vendor line up including:

Tami Winn Events – Floral

Bliss Bridal – Melanie Jane’s one shoulder gown

Memorable Occasions Hair – by Monica Puckett

De Ma Fille – Bridesmaid attire

iEntertainment – Damany,  DJ

Love Notes – Ceremony Minister

The Fort Worth Club provides the most perfect backdrop for getting ready.  Great rooms with the best light.

Melanie Jane’s Dad sneaking a peak at his daughter, the bride.

People that laugh and have fun make me happy.  Melanie Jane makes me happy.

Love this cute moment between sisters.

Dave greeting his Mom.

Checking out the ring before the ceremony.

So many laughs during the ceremony.  Love Notes ministers always do such a great job!

Private little moment in front of 100’s of eyes after the unity candle lighting.

After their kiss Melanie Jane turned to her sister and bridesmaids with a very excited expression!

Married!!!!!

A little flower toast with the girls post ceremony.

 Those silly girls.

I gave the boys free reign and this is what I got, ridiculous sitting photo.

Stacey & Matt {Married} A Fort Worth Club & All Saints Episcopal Wedding

Stacey and Matt are a very special couple, they feel like family practically.  A few months ago I photographed Stacey’s sisters wedding so it was like old times being with their Mom, family and friends.  It really was a truly special day and I have been waiting since the day I met them to see these two “angels” tie the knot.  Stacey and her girls prepared for the wedding at Fort Worth Club before heading over to All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Worth.  Stacey was so sweet as she put on her gown and played with her veil and Matt had TOO much fun jumping and getting kissed by his Dad.  They were such a treat to photograph and the fun didn’t stop all night as we enjoyed music from Cameron Fox with i entertainment.  Thanks for allowing me to be apart of your day and get to know your loving families.

Sparkly Shoes OH-My!!

Stacey looks just like her Mom, love this stolen moment with the two of them.

Veil is on….OMG, it’s almost time!  (that is so what her face says to me.)

Matt’s Dad cracked me up, he was kissing on Matt all day (in fun.)

Matt showing off his high jumping skills.

What is better than a moment like this, Dad looking ever so proud at his daughter.

It was a fabulous ceremony with some great laughs.

Signing the marriage registry

Matt made a bow as they entered for his first dance

Stacey’s gorgeous sister Lindsey, my former bride, saying a few words to her little sis.

So natural to cry when your Dad is toasting you, they just make our little hearts melt.

We almost had a cake-catastrophe as it fell, luckily on the plate.

Matt was SO very sweet on his bride as he held her in his arms on the dance floor.

Then Matt had a little fun!

Catch it!!!

Last Dance, sumptuous light and some oh so close moments to end the day.
