Kelly & Gerry are married and I am thrilled to finally share their wedding! My team and I had a blast with this couple and their sweet families from the start of the day until the end of the night. Today we will take a glimpse at their preparations at The Omni Hotel in Fort Worth and their ceremony at University Christian Church. We met up with the couple and their bridal party at the hotel for some prep and primping. The color of the day was definitely purple – as Texas Christian University alumni I think it was an obvious choice for the wedding color and I loved all the ways it was incorporated into the day starting with the bridesmaids sweet monogrammed robes. I will admit I am kind of obsessed with Kelly’s Kate Spade white bow backed shoes – I think every girl needs an amazing statement heel in her life and this one is gorgeous! When it came time to exchange notes Gerry read his privately on the balcony of his suite. Kelly laughed as she read hers, seeing he had lost his original note he had spent so much time writing and ended up sending a small piece of paper with a quick but heart felt message. I love that no matter how much we prepare things go wrong, like misplaced letters, but just make the day more sweet.
Off to the church, after slipping into her gown Kelly did a reveal with both her bridesmaids and Dad. It’s always a treat to see everyone’s reactions to the bride in her full ensemble. After some quick photos we were ready to get these two married. Gerry had been holding on to some nerves all day and it was amazing to watch them just melt away as he was finally with Kelly and they were married. As they walked out of the church he was care free and totally content holding his wife in his arms (above.) Can’t wait to share this couples rocking party tomorrow!
No wedding is complete without a fabulous team and the couple pulled together many of my absolute favorite people to make their day happen. Thanks to:
