Looks at these two! Last dance for the win again! Always my favorite part of a day as the couple gets a chance to be alone, reflect upon their day, enjoy each other and have lots of special moments. Jillian and Brady’s private last dance as full of sweet moments, embraces, kisses and smiles. The end of their night was magnificent but their entire night was so much fun! From the moment they entered to dance as husband and wife until this one everyone celebrated the lives of these two. It is always so special to see a couple who has stuck through high school, college and into their adult life finally get married. These two have put in a decade together before ever saying I do and I pray they have many decades ahead of them to celebrate life and to always smile in each others arms. Thanks so much for letting me be apart of you story!

Lauren & Doug – Wedding Reception at Arlington HallDallas, TX

This party was so much fun! Lauren & Doug celebrated alongside their friends and that dance floor was hopping! The Southern Table and Events by Kristen pulled together a beautiful reception space for them. The fireplace – oh the fireplace – the floral on that was to die fore. Every little detail was just perfect. Outdoors sat the head table – the long statement table was adorned with simple and sweet flower arrangements while inside the ballroom were tall floral show stoppers. It was beautiful! The reception was full of dancing, tradition and so much fun. My favorite thing was their cake toppers – Gold dinosaurs dressed as bride and groom adorned their cake. I just loved it. This couple brought personality to their day in every way.

Thank you both for allowing me to be with you. It was an amazing day I will not forget. I pray you have an amazing future ahead in New York and I hope I get to see you both again soon.

Bailey & Brandon – Wedding Reception at Ashton Gardens

January 9, 2014 Moments

After Bailey & Brandon’s Wedding Ceremony it was time to celebrate! After some romantic imagery in the chapel and outside in the chill of the evening we headed in to party it up. After some fun introductions these two hit the dance floor and invited all their guests to take part in their first dance as husband and wife. They spent the evening mingling with friends and family and cutting up on the dance floor. Don’t let Brandon’s laid back demeanor fool you, he knows how to bring it on the dance floor. He is Sexy and he knows it (And Bailey knows it too!) His shenanigans were quite entertaining and I think he may have even danced a bit with me. After lots of fun it was time to depart, we stole them away for one last parting portrait beneath the sweet marquis LOVE letters provided by Leforce Entertainment. Then they were off to their honeymoon to celebrate their marriage and the new year! Thanks guys for letting us take part, we so enjoyed ending our 2013 with you.

Amanda & Cameron – Wedding Reception at Arlington Hall at Lee Park in Dallas, Texas Part 2

After their ceremony we had SO much time to play with portraits of Amanda and Cameron. You know that made me a happy photographer. When it was time to head in we all had laughs ahead of us as their friends brought it with funny stories and some crazy dancing (men did remove their shirts!) during the traditional toasts. Then we headed into craziness with dancing lead by Colby Logan of Astounding Sounds. Those Foreigners sure know how to party and the Texas crowd kept up with them. Cam looks a little 007 to me here. So suave.

Ahhhh, pure sweetness.

All of their details were awesome from their outdoor seating area in front of Arlington Hall to their tall centerpieces with mercury glass vases.

That crazy dancing I mentioned above, here it is. I still have NO IDEA what this is or why it happened but it sure was funny.

Before the end of the night I stole the couple away for a quick photo outside of Arlington Hall.

My MOST favorite image from this wedding. Why? It is simple and sweet and there is just a touch of a tear on her cheek. It says so much about how much they love one another and it is a perfect example of what I LOVE about my job.

Just look at those sweet faces all squishy and happy. How can you not just fall in love with this couple? After their very emotional preparations and ceremony it was time for some romantic portraits and a superb reception with dinner and dancing at Aristide Event Center. Their day was flawless and that could not have been accomplished with out a solid team of vendors lead by their wedding planner, Julie Eastman of Extraordinary Events.
