Aimee & Adam {Married Part 2} Romantics and Reception at OW Ranch

Aimee and Adam had some to die for warm light at sunset that we fully took advantage of before they headed off to party the night away at their reception.  It was such a fabulous day and here is there highlights reel to show off all the fun they had!

Audra & Matt {Married Part 2 – Romantic Portraits & Reception} Christ Chapel Church & Ashton Depot

Audra & Matt’s reception was smashing and so fun.  Randy Ro Entertainment provided great tunes to dance to and mood lighting as well as a photo booth that the guest had way to good of time in.  The food by Ashton Depot was amazing as always, one of my favorite places for food and the vintage ambiance.   The Cake Guys made a show stopping cake and Audra’s Dad surprised the couple with a vintage car from Romantic Remembrances.  The white elegant decor by Tami Winn Events made the room perfection.  It was a spectacular night and Sarah Halferty and I had a great time celebrating with them.  I wish you both all the best!

Mr & Mrs Robert Haslam – City Club Fort Worth Wedding

Veronica & Robert were married last weekend and Sarah Rizy and I just had an amazing time with them.  They had a mid-afternoon wedding at St Andrews Episcopal followed by a sit down dinner at City Club Fort Worth were everyone had a great time.  I think by the end of the day we had all cried just a bit as it was such a touching day with beautiful and funny toasts, parent dances and just an amazing amount of love between these two families.  Veronica and Robert were high school sweethearts and have been together about 8 years so it was most definitely a day all had looked forward to for a long time.  Many of my couples have late afternoon and evening weddings but I always love early weddings as it allows for very different light through out the day.  Because of the timing we had plenty of time to snag some photos outside the church and off Lancaster by a historic building before heading to the reception.  We ended their day with a few photos as the sun was starting to set in a field in Fort Worth after the getaway.  Then Robert whisked Veronica off to a secret location for their first night as husband and wife before heading out on their honeymoon.  Here are some beautiful moments and romantics from their daytime wedding!

Ashley & Matt – A Dallas Wedding Reception at City Club

Dallas Wedding Photographer Tracy Autem City Club Downtown Red Sculpture

Fun shot outside the downtown Dallas high rise where they had the reception at City Club.

After Ashley and Matt tied the knot at Maple Manor in Dallas we switched up locations completely from garden to downtown high rise at City Club Dallas where they had their reception.  I always love working at City Club as their staff, food and service are just phenomenal.  They really saved the day actually as just days before the wedding Ashley realized she had told City Club Sunday’s date for her reception instead of Saturday!  All was taken care of though, the reception  moved to Saturday and it was gorgeous.  The night was jam packed with fun from Matt & one of his groomsmen singing “Gold Digger” by Kanye to the crowd, Oklahoma University Pride, and non stop dancing.  I know that everyone had such a good time and we did too!  Here are some photos from their Dallas Wedding Reception!

Mr & Mrs Gabe Stout – An East Texas Country Wedding, Part 1 Moments & Details

Bride Groom Recessional Chapel Wedding

Married!

Lacy & Gabe were married last Saturday out in East Texas in Sulphur Springs.  I had so much fun at this country wedding and I just adore this couple.  This week I am trying something new with my wedding post and splitting it up into two.  This post will focus on the moments and the details and part two will be all about the couple.  This is how the day is split up to me and so I thought why not post it that way!  I love capturing the things that happens, anticipating the moment and getting the reaction.  These photos tell the story of the day and speak to the emotion of the special people at the wedding.  Details are all about the things that express the couple and the things that they spent so much time thinking about leading up to the wedding.

Lacy and her girls prepped at a amazing home that her friends parents own.  It looked like an old barn and was filled to the brim with eclectic antiques and decor that made my head spin, in a good way.  I wish we had more time there to take advantage of it but the locations all day were killer and did not disappoint.  The wedding was held at the Hopkins County Museum and Heritage Park. The ceremony was in a quaint little chapel and the rest of the park…WOW!  So many little vignettes (that is photographer speak for locations) that you will see more of in their romantics post.  Then we trekked further east into the country for a honky tonk reception in Mount Vernon at the Trey-Deuce Domino Saloon complete with a good ol country band.  Everyone was so relaxed and chill, Gabe even changed into something a tad more comfortable than his tux and donned his jeans and boots.  It was such an amazing day and I am so lucky to have been a part of it.

With out further ado here are some of the beautiful moments and things from Lacy & Gabe’s East Texas Wedding!  Stay tuned for a blog tomorrow with romantics and their wedding day slide show!

Mr & Mrs Ryan Batla – First United & City Club Fort Worth

Bride and Groom Portrait in courtyard of First United Methodist Church Fort Worth

Lauren and Ryan were married on May 8th at First United Methodist of Fort Worth where Lauren’s Mom, Sandy, works.  It made it so special that it has been her family church and it is also one of the most gorgeous churches in down town.  I just love my Fort Worth weddings and this was no exception as we had perfect weather and had a fun filled day.  From the special moments with Lauren and her sister Mellisa to the revealing of the outrageous life sized deer cake for Ryan we had a great time.  The reception at City Club of Fort Worth was full of dancing, great times and amazing comfort food from macaroni and cheese to sliders.  I know these two had a fabulous time on their honeymoon in St. Lucia and I bet they are dying to see some photos so with out further ado here are some favorite images from their wedding.

Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Russell

Last weekend I had so much fun with Laura and Jeff at their wedding at the Ashton Depot.  We really lucked out and my streak of no rain on outside weddings stayed true as DFW dodged the storms.  I think that Laura & Jeff need to throw an outdoor party every year the weekend of Mayfest in Fort Worth as we seem to have broken the Mayfest weather curse.  Laura saw a wedding show with fuchsia and greens and it inspired their bright colored and beautifully designed decor.  Tara Wilson Events coordinated and made Laura’s vision come true.  Lovely lighting by Beyond, formerly light Dallas, scrumptious cake by Sublime Bakery & flowers by The Enchanted Florist.  I love, love, LOVED the romantics and that we had ample time to get some beautiful shots of the two of them while her guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio.  Here are some of my favorite images, their slide show and of course their fabulous details!

Loved the Fushia & Green! So bright and fun!

Yummy food by the Ashton Depot and lighting by Light Dallas

Jeff wrote Laura the sweetest note and a grabbed this ring shot on the evelope it was delivered in. He is talented with the written word.

I was walking backwards and they were walking forward resulted in this perfect shot with everything a bit blurry except for them. Love when things go right!

This is why I follow the bride & groom after they exit the ceremony. For that moment when they realize they are married. One of my favorite parts of EVERY wedding.

Mr. & Mrs. Jason Johnston

Love this shot I snagged at the end of the night before Callie changed into her party dress.

We met Callie last year at City Club’s Best in Bridal event and from the moment I met her I just loved her.  Jason & Callie are a super sweet couple with very loving families that we so enjoyed getting to know through their planning process.  I was excited last Saturday to finally photograph their wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth.  Marty Leonard has awesome window light making it super easy and fun to photograph there.  I felt SO bad for Jason though as he was feeling under the weather and sick.  Despite that though he put a smile on and enjoyed his day with Callie and their precious son, Brady.  After the wedding we boarded the transportation and headed to the Ashton Hotel where we danced the night away!

For best viewing watch in High Resolution

I love shoes almost as much as I love taking pictures of them.

Callie and her Mom look so much alike, love this shot of Mom lacing up the dress.

Mommy & Brady, such a cute little man.

Had to get one with Daddy too.

Brady rode in on a wagon and I was so happy to get this shot of Jason just beaming at his son.

Thanks Sarah H. for capturing this great moment at the altar before Callie's Dad gave her to Jason.

Such a cool church! We love Marty Leonard.

Sarah H. was able to be right at the front and capture some sweet moments between this couple.

Cutest Favors with some Hawaii feel

Cutest Favors with some Hawaii feel

On July 10th this couple were married at the fabulous Outrigger Canoe Club in Waikiki in Hawaii.  It was a beautiful day and sharing it with them makes me feel truly blessed.  Doing a destination wedding I become even closer with my couples and spend allot of time through out the wedding process preparing for their day.  These two had perfect weather, looked amazing and I loved the details and intricate touches.  Here is their day and I can’t wait to see the memories they make in the future.

I love love love this.
