Caroline & Rob – Wedding Ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic ChurchDallas, Texas

Caroline & Rob are married!  They may have gotten hitched on a misty gray day but we made the best of it and had a perfect wedding experience with them. We kicked off their wedding in a suite at The Four Seasons where Grand Slam Glam helped make everyone’s wedding day look weather proof!  Then off to the church for their wedding at Holy Trinity – their ceremony was so sweet – they had 2 priests preside over their ceremony.  Each one connected to Caroline and Rob as well as their families.  That connection made the ceremony more customized to them as a couple and it was full of emotion, glances, smiles and a little laughter. Thanks to everyone who made this wedding ceremony so perfect:

Laura & Dave – Wedding Ceremony at Highland Park United MethodistDallas, Texas

Laura & Dave are just adorable together.  Their wedding day was fun filled and oh so sweet!  These two were introduced through a mutual friend Gabe, she knew Dave from law school and once night after a fun night out they met up and thus started the road to the altar.  It took a little bit as Laura & Dave didn’t go on their first official date until a little over a month later.  What started with Instagram likes and friend hang outs became more quickly!  Here is what Laura had to say about their beginnings:

“Our “official first date” was Shakespeare in the Park for a showing of Romeo and Juliet. From then on we were pretty much inseparable (I think there were only 4 or 5 days we didn’t actually see each other during the first 6 months we had dated), and still love to go to Shakespeare in the Park on a regular basis as season pass holders.  I knew within the first three weeks after Shakespeare in the Park that the was “the one”, and after he told me “I love you” (he said it first!) on Labor Day 2015, and I may have immediately started saving pictures of engagement rings on my phone…”

I just love them!  Thanks to all the vendors who made their wedding day so special!  My favorite part about their ceremony is that Laura grew up looking out her window at Cox Chapel, she saw so many brides in white dresses taking photos outside.  On this day it was her turn!  It was fun to do some getting ready in her childhood home across the street before saying I Do in the chapel!

Ashley & Jim – Wedding Reception at Room on MainDallas, Texas

Ashley & Jim had a fabulous reception at Room on Main in Dallas.  This day was a celebration of life, love and their families and everyone there had a blast!  Huge shoutout to the Time Machine Band who kept the dance floor packed and the party going!  These two started their marriage with a party and I don’t see it ending anytime soon.  Jim LOVES to travel so he will be pulling Ashley all over the world to live life to the fullest.

Ashely & Jim – Wedding Ceremony at Highland Park United MethodistDallas, Texas

An online dating app brought these two together in 2015 and the timing could not have been more perfect for them.  Through their relationship they have travelled the world, overcome life and job changes and stood firm in their faith against illness.  The love they have for each other is truly beautiful and their firm foundation in Christ in undeniable.  To celebrate their love for the Lord and that Ashley has overcome illness during the ceremony Jim played a worship song – Blessings. This song was their rock, her anthem fighting through treatment over the last year but it was also a declaration of God’s love.  It was so beautiful and sweet and I sang along with joy for the truth that is God’s work in Ashley and Jim’s life.

I love what Ashley says about Jim:

“I don’t know that I’ve ever met anyone with a heart as big as Jim, who would 110% rather give than receive. Fortunately for me, I ‘ve managed to be on the receiving end of his generosity and I know that a huge part of Jim said,” I DO,” 20 months ago. For that……Gratitude.”

Jim is a good man and he love’s Ashley for her heart:

“I learned long ago that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at how loyal they are to their friends and how loyal their friends are to them. Ashley has so many loyal and caring people in her life, and after being with her for two years now, I know why. Her caring spirit, her dedication to serving others, and her willingness to always be there for those closest to her are traits that I have come to love and cherish. I will always look up to Ashley for how she treats others and she truly does show her strong Christian faith through her love for others.”

Thank you to all the vendor’s who made this celebration such a special one!

I just love Christine and Andrew and I LOVE the Nasher!  It was the perfect place for this fashionable and sweet couple to say I do!  Christine was stunning in her bridal gown with an overlay and intricate belt and Andrew was so dapper in his cream tux with fabulous shoes.  Every corner of the Nasher Sculpture Center garden offers unique and polished architectural lines and greenery like this weeping willow above.  Their ceremony took place indoors before their night time reception under the stars and lights of the big city!

Amy & Bryce – Wedding Reception at Union StationDallas, Texas

Amy & Bryce’s wedding reception at Union Station was stunning with a color palette of light blush pinks, whites, creams, golds and pops of rich blues.  It was elegant and regal and oh so perfect for this couple!  The moment Amy walked into see her reception space during her private reveal her jaw dropped – her vision truly came to life thanks to Chloe with Stylish Soiree!  Not only was this reception gorgeous but it was action packed and full of FUN!  As DJ Glenn Roush welcomed the guests and challenged them that this might be the best wedding they have ever attended – he was right!  From special dances to some pretty special dance moves this evening was exciting and perfect filled with foam glow sticks and lots of laughter.  Thank you so much Amy & Bryce for including us in your special day.  Congrats on your wedding and we pray that your life is full, happy and marriage strong!

Amy & Bryce – Wedding Portraits at Holy Trinity Catholic & Union StationDallas, Texas

Amy & Bryce gave me SO much time for portraits of the two of them and I had a blast with them!  We spent time photographing the couple and their bridesmaids and groomsmen outside of the church and these beautiful wooden arched doorways.  It was gorgeous and their friends were a blast as you can see below.  Amy’s bridesmaids were stunning in vibrant blue gowns and pale pink and white bouquets!  Their bright was the perfect compliment to Amy’s soft and airy wedding gown.  Bryce and his men looked dapper in their grey suits with gray ties from Al’s Formal Wear.

After a special reveal at Union Station – Amy was so happy to get a sneak peek at her reception before the guests arrived – we headed outside and strolled around the nearby downtown area for some photos of just the two of them.  We played near the fountain, found some art, strolled the city streets and enjoyed a park bench break before it was time to party with their closest friends!

Amy & Bryce – Wedding Ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic ChurchDallas, Texas

Amy & Bryce’s wedding day was full of sweet moments like the one above of her and her Daddy’s first look.  I am always smitten with emotion – give me all the feels please!

As we met up at the hotel for preparation Amy and her girl squad looked amazing and her sweet little flower girl just couldn’t get enough camera time – love girls with sass!  Amy dressed in her beautiful gown at Holy Trinity Catholic Church surrounded by her bridesmaids before the big reveal with her Daddy.  Mom helped Dad get a little closer to his daughter before uncovering his eyes for the big reveal – it was such a sweet and emotion filled moment!  During the ceremony Bryce and Amy laughed, smiled and kept stealing glances at one another.  As they exited the church as husband & wife and celebrated with their families you could see how happy these two were to be married!  Congrats Amy & Bryce!!

Amy – Bridal Portrait at Union StationDallas, Texas

Amy was a stunning bride!  I loved her airy and soft skirted gown with corseted detailing on the top.  Amy and Bryce’s wedding will be hitting the blog this week but as I put the finishing touches on her wedding images I had to share these gorgeous bridals.  Amy looked amazing thanks to Rayven with Beauty and the Blush – she always does such a beautiful job on hair and makeup for my clients.  One of my faves!  Amy’s cascading bouquet by A Stylish Soiree with greenery and some loose leaves and textured floral perfectly accented the shape and feel of her gown.  We photographed her bridals at Union Station – the location of her wedding reception and I just adore this outdoor terrace area there.  It is so pretty!

Check back later this week for more from Amy’s wedding!
