Brooke & Justin Wedding at Piazza in the Village

January 12, 2015 Ceremony

Brooke and Justin were our last wedding of 2014 and what a fabulous end to a spectacular year! I just loved this couple and their wedding day, Justin was kissing on his bride or holding her tight from the moment he was allowed until the night ended. You know that kinda feels makes for one happy photographer! This photo above was my favorite of the day, captured right after the lighting of the unity candle these two are all smiles as they start their marriage in prayer together. A right foundation with a couple that is truly devoted will make for one happy life.

Brooke and her ladies were prettied up all day by Tracy Melton at a nearby hotel before we headed to the Piazza where their ceremony and reception was held. Once at the Piazza in the Village it was go go go and we stayed inside where it was warm and cozy. During the ceremony these two were all smiles and I love shooting in this chapel because of the intimate angles I am allowed to shoot from. After the ceremony as their family greeted the newlyweds the room was filled with laughter and love – these two are surrounded by some pretty special people that I know will be a support system through out their days.

Kayla & Neal – Relaxed Ranch Wedding at The Orchard

Kayla and Neal are one of the warmest couples I have ever worked with. Super sweet, totally in love and they pale a high value on relationships with all those around them. They made me feel like I was part of the family, a close friend and an honored guest. It was so much fun to share in their wedding experience. On a perfect first Saturday in May this couple tied the knot at The Orchard in Azle. Not a typical ranch wedding the aesthetic was elegant yet relaxed and organic. Kayla selected Navy and Yellow for her wedding colors. Perfectly complimented and funnily enough the school colors for Michigan where they met. I am sure Neal’s family never pictured their son would fall head over heals for a Texas nurse and chase her down south and drag them along for a full on Southern wedding. Looking above you can see as these two smile at each other in during their ceremony that they are enamored with one another. Their day was perfected by the Todd Events team providing design, floral and planning for this couple.

Brighton & Chad – Wedding Reception at The Four Seasons Dallas

After their sunset ceremony these two were ready to party with their closest friends and family! The Four Seasons ballroom was the most elegant backdrop for their party as it is truly a gorgeous room (I could photograph in there every Saturday, I love the way light lives in that space!) They hit the dance floor to kick off their night and then ate, drank and enjoyed the company of friends.

Brighton & Chad – Wedding Ceremony at The Four Seasons Dallas

Brighton & Chad’s picture perfect day at The Four Seasons Dallas was AHmazing. It was beautiful, with every last detail brought together by the team at Tami Winn Events. We met up with the couple at the resort for preparations before their outdoor ceremony. Little man, Blaise, the couple’s son joined in for fun all day long and some of my favorite moments are between him and his Mommy. During the ceremony these two looked so happy and I could tell both were excited to finally be saying I DO! It was a true fairytale and I can’t wait to share their elegant reception tomorrow.

Brandi {Model Bride} A favorite things inspired shoot in Dallas

Bridal portraits are SO fun and when Brandi and I started talking about possibly doing something a little different for her session I was stoked. Brandy has a degree in art history and did her thesis on graffiti/urban wall art so we immediately knew that downtown Dallas would give us some funky backdrops for her shoot. Her boxer, Bailey, came along for some fun and since Brandi (like myself) loves cake we had some scrumptious cup cakes from The Cupcakery (my favorite!) Natalie & Ryan {Engaged} Urban walls and Herritage Park field

Natalie and Ryan are getting married this June and we finally had a chance to get together and not only take engagement photos but meet for the first time! They both live in Houston and planning from out of town can be tough so we had a phone consultation but had never met. Natalie is a girl who knows what she wants, especially when it comes to weddings because she is a coordinator and also does floral design. Because of this she has put together once exclusive team of vendors and I frankly can not wait for her wedding! They came by the studio early so we could chat, look at some albums and other products and get to know one another a bit before they had to be in front of the camera. They loosened right up and I had such a great time with them. My favorite part of the entire session was Ryan picking a dandelion for Natalie to blow on for a wish. Unfortunately it was one stubborn weed but it sure was sweet.

Stacy and Brent were married in a sweet Sunday afternoon wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel on September 5th. Their day was full of amazing moments, romance and some very fun and bright details! After the ceremony these two gave me tons of time to play as we photographed the two of them at the chapel, the Kimball Art Museum and outside their reception venue, The Ashton Depot. I am often out west in San Angelo, Texas. It is my home town and most of my family still lives there. I love my San Angelo clients and it is always fun to shoot in some of the cool urban locations that the city offers. Peggy is a good friend of my Mom’s and I was excited to meet her 3 adorable grandchildren. She had all 3 of them in town for the weekend so she wanted to capture them together at these great ages. Macie & Camden are brother and sister and Hazel is their little cousin. These kids were all completely unique and we had a ton of fun playing together in the morning heat. Here are some of my favorites! Can’t wait for my next chance to shoot some San Angelo portraits!
