Celebration de Lamour – A French Picnic styled photo shoot with Tami Winn Events and Brides of North Texas Magazine

SS14_BONT_Tabletop_TamiWinn_01_1This tabletop shoot was one to remember!  I love when planners and designers think outside the box and Tami Winn definitely did with this French inspired picnic. The low ground level tables surrounded by posh pillows were so inviting.  I adored the bold striped linens, the classic gold and pops of pink.  Treats were provided by the Four Seasons Resort with a ruffled cake by Creme de la Creme.  This sweet picnic took place with one of my real couples, Kristy & Jared, at the Four Seasons in Dallas Spa Poll Deck.  This pocket of pretty green grass, surrounded by trees created a haven for our set and lovely couple.  To add to the outdoor vibe we were joined by a little frenchie, a french bulldog that is, Bruiser.  Bruiser is the pup of one Dallas’ best DJ’s, Glenn Roush.  Thanks to all the vendors who took part in this photo shoot and check it out in the pages of Brides of North Texas Magazine!

Lindsey & Jason – Engaged Part 1 {A Train Station Story}

vintage inspired train station story telling engagement photos fort worth texas tracy autem photographers

Lindsey and Jason wanted something a bit different from what most of my clients request when it came time for their engagement session.  Lindsey wanted to incorporate a theme, props and tell a story PLUS have some “regular” photos too.  I love all my clients but it is nice to be thrown a challenge and come up with a new and exciting way to approach something I photograph frequently.  For the first part of their session we played out a couple in love, separated by distance, being reunited at a train station.  We threw in a vintage feeling with wardrobe and props from an old suitcase to gloves, love notes on postcards and a bit of special editing.  Watch this story unfold with some of my favorite photos from the first hour of their shoot.  Tomorrow part 2, a picnic!

Holly & Jason – A Private Residence Black and White Wedding in Kennedale

As Fall begins and the weather cools we also get unexpected rain.  For Holly & Jason’s wedding lots of prayers went up to God asking for the rain to cease and move out.  It may have rained all morning, not the nice misty rain but full out pouring, but in the afternoon the sun came out, the sky was filled with puffy stormy clouds but not a drop of rain fell on their celebration.  It was really a perfect day and I pray the luck and blessings that found them that day follow them every day of their lives as husband and wife.  Everyone got muddy and Holly and her bridesmaids even wore rain boots after the ceremony to keep dry but I believe everyone had an amazing time celebrating with them.  I know we did.  Congratulations you two and thank you for allowing me and Sarah Rizy to be there for your day.

Holly has a great sense of style and that was evident in all the do it yourself details with a classic black and white theme.

What girl doesn’t love shoes?

Samantha had a little bit of make up to for this special day.

So happy.

Fun with sparklers and a S L O W shutter.

After the guests left we played under the Christmas lights and the amazing moon for some available light only photographs (no flash here folks!)
