Richelle and Travis had a choreographed first dance so we had to get a little practice in at the Grand Hall to make sure they could do all their tricks in their wedding attire.

I think Richelle may have hit Travis in the face, just maybe.  🙂

They did it!  Lift and all it was a priceless first dance and performed well!

A touching welcome and toast from Dad.

Cake cutting and feeding got a little crazy.

Anniversary dances are always so cool when the couple that has been married the longest is your grandparents.  So sweet and she gave Grandma her bouquet.

Now normally phones are no no’s on your wedding day BUT you have to get in a call to the Grandma that couldn’t make it!  Here Richelle is telling her Oma how perfect everything is, it was the most adorable moment.

Late night snacks anyone?  Catering by the always yummy City Club.

After their exit they hopped into their carriage and then tossed the bouquet…..to her youngest, baby sister.  Let’s  hope she waits a LOOOOOONG time to get married!

Christina & Mason {Married} Marty Leonard Chapel, City Club Fort Worth & Omni Hotel

On Valentines weekend Christina & Mason were married and it was an amazing first wedding of 2011 for me.  They are a couple with personality and that makes my job even more fun!  Christina and her brides maids prepared at the Omni Hotel and their suite was gorgeous.  Besides it being HUGE there was amazing light which made me one happy girl and a balcony with a view that was almost scary high.  Sarah Rizy was my second for the wedding and she stayed away from the edge, I was a tad more daring.  They had a night ceremony at Marty Leonard followed by a reception at City Club Fort Worth.  My friend, Randy Ro, provided entertainment while everyone danced and enjoyed the celebration.  At the end of the evening we followed the couple back to their hotel suite for some balcony photos and a little fun.  Every couple is SO unique and they have a definite side of silly so when I suggested some bed jumping they were all about it and got some BIG air (Sorry Omni Hotel, we promise, we broke nothing.)

It was truly an honor to be a part of their day.  The biggest compliment is when another photographer, like Christina, selects me to document their wedding.  Christina must have felt like a celebrity because between our cameras and her bridesmaids (several of them also are photographers or are hobbyists) she was a star.  Thank you Christina & Mason for trusting me, it was amazing.

Happy Thanksgiving {& a sneak peek: Bethany & Rob!}

The offices of Tracy Autem and Lightly Photography will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday through Sunday. Before I left for the long weekend I wanted to give you a sneak peak of the wedding I am working on.  Bethany & Rob you truly melted my heart, made me cry all day and editing your images I am doing it all over again.  Here are 4 of my FAVORITE moments from your fabulous wedding.  Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I just LOVE this image. Bethany’s expression through the veil and the spontaneous moment of it coming in front of my camera is dreamy goodness.

Just married and Bethany instinctively rests her head on Rob as they walk down the aisle. Perfection.

Their first moments alone as husband and wife were the most romantic I have ever been privileged to photograph. They grasped onto one another SO tight.

I love City Club Fort Worth and this balcony shot is why. LOVE, love. LOVE!!!!
