Fall weddings carry a certain rhythm, especially with the sun setting just a little earlier. For Elizabeth and Scott, we began with a first look on the lawn at River Crest Country Club, surrounded by soft autumn light and the quiet anticipation of the day ahead.
Knowing the daylight would fade quickly, we intentionally completed as many portraits as possible before heading to St. Patrick Cathedral. That gift of time allowed them to be fully present for their ceremony, a beautiful and reverent full Mass that felt sacred and timeless.
My favorite moment came just after. As they exited the cathedral, laughter bubbled over. On the church steps, Scott dipped Elizabeth and kissed her while bridesmaids and groomsmen surrounded them, cheering. Pure joy. Completely unfiltered.
Then it was back to River Crest for a celebration masterfully designed by Melanie Tatum. Every detail felt elegant and intentional, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
They sang at the top of their lungs. Held each other close during slow songs. And when confetti rained down for the final dance, the room erupted in celebration.
They ended the night running through a tunnel of sparklers, laughter echoing, before slipping into their vintage getaway car. A perfect close to a day full of reverence, romance, and joyful celebration.
