Jacy & Bobby Wedding Portraits and Reception at BRIK The Venue

Fort Worth, Texas

Jacy & Bobby’s wedding reception at BRIK the venue in Fort Worth was FUN! But before you can check those out these portraits are my favorite! This little hidden spot down below the building at BRIK is full of graffiti and this gorgeous greenery space with lovely hanging honeysuckles. It’s completely perfect! In addition to photos outside we got to play on the roof and indoors! I had so much fun photographing these two alone I could have done it all day!

For their reception they served one of my favorites, Torchy’s Tacos and the guests were entertained by DJ Cale Bessant. It was a fun filled night with yummy treats and home made baked goods. I loved that the atmosphere was so relaxed and had a very welcoming vibe.

Congrats Jacy & Bobby!

Jacy & Bobby – Wedding Ceremony at BRIK The Venue

Fort Worth, Texas

Jacy & Bobby are full of so much joy! I just adored working with them because my face hurt from all the smiling, my eye makeup was all messed up from so many tears and I got SO many hugs from the groom! Emotion is my favorite thing to capture and Jacy & Bobby gave it all to me! They were high school sweethearts and are finally saying I Do after waiting forever! We spent their entire day at BRIK here in Fort Worth. I love this venue for its gorgeous getting ready room, awesome outdoor spaces and yummy light!

Congrats Jacy & Bobby!!

Sara & Brock – Wedding Reception at Omni Hotel

Dallas, Texas

This wedding reception was all about the party! I mean, how could it not be when you have one of Dallas’ best bands and best Dj’s booked to entertain your guests? All night long we celebrated alongside Sara & Brock at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The ballroom was gorgeous in whites, golds, blacks and touches of marble. Check out the marble stage backdrop and place setting details below! So elegant yet modern! Sara & Brock – Wedding Portraits in Downtown Dallas

Omni Hotel and surrounding areas

Sara & Brock are absolutely perfect together! I can’t believe this couple has been together over 7 years! They have traveled the world and grown together, closer and stronger. I know they will have an amazing marriage! For their wedding they had hopes of getting married outside but Texas is hot y’all! SO, they moved the ceremony indoors but we still had plenty of fun outside in the shade! Sara & Brock selected to do a first look at this downtown Dallas city garden and then have their bridesmaids and groomsmen join them for some fun portraits. If it wasn’t for the heat (and time constraints) I could have spent the whole day photographing them, they just make me happy! All of these vendors are also joy inducing and made everything beautiful and run smoothly:

Sara & Brock – Getting Ready & Ceremony at Omni Hotel

Dallas, Texas

Sara & Brock met in High School youth group and then reconnected while off at college at the University of Texas Austin. A date to the Texas/OU game kicked off their relationship and they have been inseparable for over 7years! On their 7th anniversary Brock proposed on a rooftop with a view of the Dallas skyline and now they are married!

This wedding day was filled with fun, laughter, dancing galore and some super sweet moments. I love these two and their families – I think they are perfectly paired and they have a beautiful love and respect for each other.

Laura & Dave – Wedding Reception at the George W. Bush Presidential CenterDallas, Texas

After the wedding Laura sent me a little info about a few of her favorite parts of her day:

“Not exactly unique, but obviously the one thing I was most excited for was just getting to marry Dave”

I mean isn’t that the cutest?  I loved that when I asked her what she was looking forward to about the wedding this was first on her mind, not things but Dave!  It says so much about her heart for him and the amazing marriage they are going to have.  She also liked some of the fun stuff!  Here is what she had to say about that:

“I absolutely loved being able to have both the A&M and UT aspects come together for our wedding. Being able to have the half maroon and half burn orange koozies, as well as playing the Aggie War Hymn and the Eyes of Texas to represent both my and Dave’s alma maters was great (and it was a plus that we didn’t have any “school fights” break out or anything like that!).

Another thing I also loved about out wedding was that we were able to have a photobooth. Dave and I have always loved taking photobooth pictures together; it doesn’t matter where we are, anytime we find a photobooth, we have to take a picture together! We were able to take copies of some of the pictures we have taken together over the years in photobooths and blow them up for a poster to put next to our photobooth!

Another thing we both feel so blessed to have had on our wedding day was that we were able to have so many of our family members and friends some celebrate us from so many difference parts of the country (and world). We had family come in from East Texas, Dallas, Pennsylvania, Boston, but also had friends who came in from Florida, NYC, California, and even Australia! We felt so much love being able to celebrate with everyone!”

It was an awesome celebration!  We had a fabulous time and I want to thank every vendor that worked so hard to make this night such a success:

Bethany & Tyler – Wedding First Look and Wedding Party PortraitsTrinity Park, Fort Worth

Look at how cute and excited these two were to finally see each other!  Bethany knew she wanted a location that was green and lush for her first sight with Tyler.  We selected Trinity Park for just that reason and it was gorgeous!  Right before he turned I asked him what he thought her dress might look like and he may have been a little off on his expectations but he was not disappointed when he turned to see Bethany.  After some photos of the two of them alone they were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for wedding party photos.

Allison & Allen – Wedding Reception at The Modern Art MuseumFort Worth, Texas

Allison & Allen had a fabulous party to celebrate their marriage at The Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth.  This NYC couple was surrounded by friends and family as they danced and partied the night away.  Having a fab time was super important to them – they actually flew in a DJ from Israel that they had seen at a friends wedding. His European style of mixing kept the dance floor packed all night long!  The Modern was beautiful in elegant tulips in purples and whites with clean lined acrylic accents on the head table.  Gro Designs always surprises me with their decor and ideas from flowers to linens.

My favorite moment of the reception is above.  They spent the night dancing with friends but this quiet moment on the dance floor was perfection.  Amidst the crowd they just melt into each other – So much love and respect for one another.

Huge shout out to all the vendors who made this Fort Worth wedding reception a hit!

Allison & Allen – Wedding Ceremony & PreparationsMarty Leonard Chapel, Fort Worth

Allison & Allen were married at the Marty Leonard Community Chapel in Fort Worth.  I loved their modern traditional wedding!  Although they had bridesmaids and groomsmen they elected to stand unattended at the altar which really brought the focus onto the two of them and the commitment they were making.  Their close friend – and bridesmaid – married them, making the ceremony very unique and tailored to the two of them.  My favorite part of the ceremony was during the special  music – as Allison’s parents sang a duet her eyes welled up with tears and Allen gently wiped away her tears.  It was so beautiful and a perfect representation of his caring heart for his bride.

Thanks to the amazing vendors who made their ceremony so perfect!
