Audra & Matthew are just the sweetest and I was so fortunate to capture their intimate courthouse wedding last week. It was a cold and rainy day but perfect in every way. We met up at the Ashton Hotel and walked a few blocks in the mist to the Fort Worth downtown courthouse. As they waited for their names to be called they snuggled up and were so excited. Inside the courtroom the judge was an absolute sweetheart. He asked them how they met, about their lives together and made it truly special. As they said their vows, placed rings on fingers and promised each other their lives there were sweet smiles and I was moved to tears. After their kiss the officiant presented them with a card – written on it was the exact moment of their marriage so they could remember not only their wedding day – but time. It totally got me turning on the water works! After this intimate ceremony we took some pics with family present, said hi to family on FaceTime and took the blustery walk back to the hotel.
