A Winter Wedding Morning: Getting Ready & First Look at The Fort Worth Club

Weddings

Jordyn and John’s wedding day began with elegance and intention—set against the timeless backdrop of The Fort Worth Club. With the winter sun casting a soft glow over downtown, Jordyn stepped into her gown surrounded by her closest friends, her look polished and glowing thanks to Anna Sullivan and Kristen Farrah. Every detail was curated, from her classic bridal style to the lush white bouquet by Justine’s Flowers.

One of the best timeline decisions Jordyn and John made? Prioritizing a first look. The quiet, emotional moment between just the two of them allowed for a breath of calm before the ceremony—and created space for all their portraits to be captured in the beautiful daylight.

We used the elegant architecture and soft indoor light of The Fort Worth Club for family and wedding party portraits before stepping outside for romantic couple photos. Their timeless style—John in a white tux jacket, Jordyn in a classic silhouette—paired perfectly with the sophistication of the venue. Planning ahead for winter light gave us flexibility and ease, ensuring nothing was rushed and every meaningful moment was documented.

This thoughtful start set the tone for the rest of their incredible day.
