The in-between moments are my favorite thing to photograph. The ones nobody planned for — a quiet look across the room, a hand squeeze before the doors open, your grandmother wiping a happy tear before you even notice she's crying.
These are the images that surprise you most when you get your gallery back. And the ones you end up treasuring most when you look back.
