Kathryn and Douglas are super sexy and amazing. This couple has chemistry to spare, I could photograph them all day long! They are so sweet upon each other and they just light up when they are in each others arms. Little pup Ella joined us for a few photos with them at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. The light was golden and perfect for their woodsy park photos. Kathryn & Douglas love the natural vibe so for their second outfit we kept a little bit of a park feel in by hitting up the Water Gardens. Definitely a little used location it was perfect with Kathryn’s elegant and classic black dress with lace accents and Douglas’ cool suspenders. Thanks so much guys for selecting me for your wedding, we are going to rock it out for your Thursday wedding at the Piazza in the Village this spring!

Christal and Scott have been together for 9 years, since middle school when Scott got up the nerve to ask her out and they have been together ever since. When their wedding comes around they will be just shy of a decade together! It is so fun to see a couple that fell in love so young so strong in their relationship and finally getting married. Christal choose 2 of my favorite Fort Worth photo locations, Van Zandt Cottage & Trinity Park. They are simple, classic and so perfect with marvelous light at almost any time of day. Their pup joined us for a few family photos and we managed to keep her from chasing all the squirrels. They are so much fun to be around too and I can’t wait for Scott and all his friends shenanigans on the wedding day. We are going to have a blast at this one! They are getting help planning their wedding at The Fort Worth Club from Abbie Oswalt so I know it will be marvelously pulled together. March will be here before we know it!
October 21, 2013 Lindsey & Christian – Dallas Engagement Photos
Lindsey & Christian have known each other their entire lives almost, attending the same church growing up and probably playing together and being typical little kids they don’t even remember. They have photos to prove it but until these two finished college and found themselves living back in the same area they never really “saw” each other. When they did it was obviously God’s perfect timing because if you spend any time with these two you see how much they love one another and how they perfectly compliment one another. Christian is an opera singer (I know, a very uncommon career path) and Lindsey is a lover of litle ones and teaches school. To propose Christian took Lindsey on an across country adventure where they ended in New York where he proposed. Love a guy with a plan! For their engagement session we explored the Dallas Arboretum and then the Winspear Opera House and Myerson Symphony neighborhood. We got some golden light and I got to know these two more. Can’t wait for their wedding next summer!

Ahhhhhh, Ok, SO I am in LOVE with the above picture. Cristina is all about the big city, loves New York and Eric is all about down home and relaxed. I feel this photo so fuses those two looks and I adore it. The rest of their Fort Worth engagement session was pretty spectacular too as we ran around town to some of their favorite hang outs and Trinity Park. To put a bit of a bonus spin on their shoot we also took photos in front of Cooks Children’s Hospital (where Cristina works as a RN) with Eric’s patrol car. It was a fun nod at who they are in their professional lives and how they mesh as a couple. Loved their out of the box idea! Can’t wait for their wedding next April!

October 3, 2013 Kate & Josh – Dallas Arboretum & Deep Ellum Engagement Photos
Kate & Josh will be getting married next year in May and I can’t wait! These two are just awesome and from the moment I met them, before they even had a wedding date set, I knew I was going to LOVE having them in front of my camera. We met up last friday in Dallas for some engagement portraits at The Dallas Arboretum and downtown around Deep Ellum. We kicked off our session in Crepe Mertle Alley, one of my favorite spots in the gardens then explored and took in the beautiful fall weather. The gardens were Kate’s pick so then we headed out for a more urban feeling for Josh. We founds some great rustic brick walls with Honeysuckle and a few other locales I like to frequent to give their session some city vibe. I loved their shoot and I think it is a perfect compliment for their very Fort Worth wedding!
