Zachary & Torrie were married at All Saints Episcopal with their reception to follow at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth. We met up with them at the Omni for some getting ready and hanging out before heading to the church. Once we arrived at All Saints it was into the dress and on to a very touching first look. As Zachary walked around the corner of the church to see his bride I just adore the look on his face. That was one truly happy man and it just made me happy too. After a few private moments outside we headed in to photograph portraits with the families. Soon I discovered that a very important family member was missing, Zach’s Dad. He had fallen ill and was in the hospital unable to attend the wedding and it just caused me such heart ache. With no video team hired for the wedding my brain went to work and I called my sweet husband to high tale it up to the church with my hand held HD video camera so that we could capture more than just photos for this couple to share with the absent Dad. It was such a blessing to be able to do that for them and upload them to you tube for viewing. This family definitely touched my heart in a special way and I’m glad we could go the extra mile to serve them with our very non professional video skills.
Torrie wore a gown from Ocones of Fort Worth while her bridesmaids wore sweat cocktail dresses from Nordstrom. One of my very favorite florists (and people) Dietra with Lush Couture did the amazing white floral. Cake by Blue Bonnet Bakery and we danced all night to the fabulous Ice House Band. They ran away in a classic car from Vintage Limo of Fort Worth.
