Years ago one of Tiffany’s friends was getting hitched and I was the lucky duck who photographed the wedding. Through that Tiffany and I became Facebook friends and when I saw she was engaged I of course gave a shout of congrats. Little did I know that this girl would soon be sitting on my sofa at the studio talking about her wedding and ever since I have been anticipating their big day.
On Oct 10th we headed out to Pilot Point, Texas to White Oaks Ranch for their day full of Southern Charm and timeless elegance. Upon arrival I fell in love with the property – it is gorgeous! There is so much pretty in fact between these 2 love birds and the location that there will be THREE blogs for this wedding. Yeah, I am kind of in love. 🙂
During getting ready as Mom was helping Tiff into her gown I witnessed one of the most beautiful moments in all my years of photography (it is going on the top 10 list!) As she was fastening the dress, Mom, started to tell Tiffany everything on her heart. Her joy, pride, excitement, answered prayers & promises and trust in Tiffany’s choice in Chip. It was so special to hear a Mothers love, poured out for her daughter on the day she had been thinking toward ever since she held her as a tiny baby girl. Yep – we cried, Tiffany cried and I am even crying as I remember it.
After some prep, a super sweet gift exchange and some celebrating with champagne it was time for the first look. Chip eagerly awaited his bride under the arbor and when he turned around to see her his face welled with tears. She gently wiped the tears from his face and then they were all smiles, hugs and kisses. Read on to see these beautiful moments and check back for their wedding ceremony and reception!
