This table top design with Jacqueline Events was gorgeous! I loved the use of rental furniture, and the long statement floral on the table. The color palette with soft sage greens and pinks, light coral’s and whites was touchable and soft. Di Fiori always impress’ me with their use of flowers. The invitation suite by Goldie Design Co was perfection with soft floral details and wax stamped envelopes. We photographed this editorial at the new and lovely venue, The Laurel, in Grapevine. Its natural green backdrop exterior areas were perfect backdrops to this classic design. Big shout out to our other vendor partners Honeylove Cakery, Prop Maker Luxury Event Rentals & Farm to Market Catering!
I have a very good job and I get to be a part of so many couples start at life together. Working with Vickie and Rocky was such a rare treat because I got to see the other side, 43 years into marriage and still most definitely in love. Best part of the shoot hands down is when Vickie said to Rocky “you’re supposed to kiss me now!” Can’t tell you how often I hear that at engagement sessions. One day I hope to photograph my clients at their 15, 25 and more anniversary’s but I was honored these two trusted myself and Lindsey Price of So Glamorous photo styling to put this session together. When I arrived at their home I immediately fell in love and I was so glad we had chosen to shoot there. They live int he quaintest little cottage feeling house that is actually not true vintage but built from reclaimed wood and is filled with fabulous treasures. Lindsey actually found most of the items in their shoot within their own house. All though I love the images individually if you really want a glimpse at this story watch their slide show, it’s the best.
I get to eat allot of cake, but I don’t eat it at every wedding because over the years I have become a cake snob. I fully admit it. There are a few companies that when I see them on my brides vendor lists I salivate and look forward to their cake cutting and ultimately the slice of cake I get to eat. One such company is Creme de la Creme of Fort Worth. Jaimie and her staff not only make one tasty cake but do a fabulous job on the outside too. Your wedding cake and grooms cake are you show stoppers, your main centerpiece and statement in you reception room. It has to look good and when you cut into it you want your guests to be fighting to get some. With Creme de la Creme you can’t go wrong.
In preparation for my son’s first birthday I headed over to their store in east Fort Worth for a tasting. I love the atmosphere, all their sample cakes and best of all…..tasting all the flavors! Man, there were more than I even knew, some I never had before and it was just to die for. Jaimie made me the cutest farm cupcake tower and cake for my son’s party AND that chocolate cake with the Carmel chocolate filling was super moist and completely eaten. I believe in this company and trust them completely so if you are looking for a cake for any occasion give them a call at 817-492-8888 or email them at email@example.com.
