This day was pretty top notch – these two and their families are so sweet and loving. They made my team and I feel like we were part of the family and it was a complete pleasure to share this day with them.
We met up with Meredith and her ladies at her parents home to hang out and prepare for the wedding. Meredith has a beautiful group of friends and they looked gorgeous in their floor length black bella bridesmaids dresses. After hanging at home it was off to Preston Hollow Presbyterian where we turned up the emotion as Meredith dressed in her gown and shared some sweet moments with her parents. Her Daddy’s face when he saw his daughter, as a bride, just had me teary and then when they gathered to gather to give her a special wedding day present I lost it. Every girl loves a blue jewelry box but a tiffany’s pearl necklace on your wedding day is more than a gift – it is a keepsake, an heriloom that some day her little girl may wear on her own wedding day. So perfect!
Michael and the guys were hanging at his home for some classic goofing off guy style before heading to the church where he anxiously awaited seeing his bride. His back turned, Meredith walked down the aisle to him and when he turned to see her…..wow. These two are totally love and I could see the stress and anxiety melt as they were finally together. It was so sweet to hear them catch up, check out each other’s duds and give some really big hugs. It was a super cold day for their wedding but we got lucky with no rain for a brief moment to head outside for a few romantic portraits of the couple.
As the sun went down, the bagpiper played to welcome their guest and the church sanctuary filled. When the doors opened Michael cried (a little) and Meredith looked perfect in every way. 🙂
No wedding would be complete without a well thought out team of vendors:
