While Kristen & Preston’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour we made the best of the last moments of light and took some lovely romantic images in Burnett Park. After using up the last of that golden glow it was on to the party and BOY did we party! I love a wedding where time speeds by, the dance floor is full and my heart is happy celebrating alongside my couples. Their wedding was exactly like this. We hardly ever left the dance floor one The Project kicked off the party. My feet hurt and I am sure like everyone else at this wedding that didn’t matter because our hearts were full!
At the reception Kristen made sure every guest had something to do. From dancing the night away to late night snacks and of course some fun party games! Putt putt, corn hole and giant Jenga were available for party guests as well as a photo booth when they wanted to step away from the dance floor. Every detail was thought of and lets not forget some awesome Koozie’s and coasters to commemorate this killer party.
All my readers know how much I love relationship so sometimes my favorite image from a wedding is an unexpected one. From this wedding you will need to scroll down, quite a ways to see it. At the end of the night, during one of the last songs. Kristen and her brother & sister were dancing together and I captured a moment amongst these siblings that made my heart happy. As a Mom myself, this is exactly the kind of image I would die to have of my grown children one day. It also shows what a great job her parents have done, that these 3 enjoy each other. Well done Mom & Dad!
Congratulations to the bride and groom! You two know how to party, how to love, and I know God will carry you through your lives with lots of fun and joy because of your attitudes.
