This wedding was super fun and full of energy! Kristen and Preston are the kind of people you just want to be around. Smiling, laughing and always having a good time. Their wedding day was no different, perfectly them in every way!
Today we are sharing their ceremony, preparations and first look at 1st Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. We met up with this lovely couple and their crew for some prep at The Fort Worth Club. The boys played pool and had fun while the ladies were primped and prepped in the Camelia Room. Before heading to the church the couple exchanged notes and their faces were both beaming. At the church Kristen slipped into her amazing lace layered ball gown before heading off to see her groom. In her dress she could not contain her excitement – all zipped up and shoes on her feet she started twirling in the dressing room. To look and feel like a princess is every little girl’s dream and she 100% looked the part.
In the sanctuary Preston awaited Kristen to tap him on the shoulder so he could turn around and finally see his bride. I am so glad they did a first look as they spend time just talking, laughing, admiring one another and just being too cute for words. I know that for them having that special moment away from everyone else just set the tone and pace for the rest of the day.
During their vows even from our distant view you could see the joy up on the altar as these two made their promises, said their vows and exchanged rings. Every ceremony needs a touch of comic relief and their’s had it as Kristen dropped the unity candle – thankfully nothing caught on fire and all was well. It may have been the only hiccup their entire day – every wedding has one – atlases their’s was a funny one!
